The way I see it, it's up to the individual if they want to shorten their life's by eating and smoking etc. But I would rather live longer and I've found that for the most part I am still happy and can enjoy my life without those addictions.

No, I don't think we're being judgemental. We are simply trying to increase our awareness in order to live longer, healthier lives. No one has all the answers, we can only do our best. If someone really cares about himself or herself, then certainly that person would want to make wise choices in order to live the best life possible regarding the issue of health and wholeness.

Hey, it's your body. If you don't care about living longer, then do all that stuff no matter what anybody says.

I've always done just what I chose. I decided to quit smoking because it made me feel crappy. I've improved my diet in the last couple years because I was starting to gain weight and I hated feeling all bloated & fat.

Do as you please!

Of course a healthy lifestyle will make someone live longer. But we do also have the right to reject it and accept the consequences.

I had to go on a "healthy" diet a few years ago.

I decided it would be OK to have fast food just once, since there was nothing home to cook and I didn't feel like doing a big shopping.

that McDonald's food that I used to love, tasted absolutely awful. all I could taste was salt.

later on I had diarrhea.
I also smoked -- now I have asthma and COPD

you don't have to give up everything, you just have to put some extra effort into recipes. somethings are surprisingly delicious

regimental is the word i think as there is hardly anything in life that some body wants to tell you how to do it and when!so people cant think for themselves or make a decision anymore
