my grandmothers doctor has reccomended dialysis 3x a week, she is refusing treatment. She is in stage 4 diabetes. Have any of you dealt with this? Im worried she will get extremely ill without treatment. My grandmother is very tough and refuses even ibuprofen, but im scared shes going to pay really high consequences for not getting help.

So its starting to become that time of year where people get sick...and sadly enough....i already have the common cold...and what bothers me the most is my sore throat....does anybody know of any simple home remedies for the common cold more so for a sore throat....p.s. Im a college student living in a dorm so I dont have many supplies on hand....so please make it a nice and simple remedy....thanks!

P.S. This sucks being away at college hours away from home and being sick living in a dorm.

Does anyone think that Doctors get perks, and incentives for prescribing new drugs? It seems like every time I go to the Doctor's office there is a drug company rep there, sometimes two, or three. Do incentives play a part in the way Doctors write prescriptions?

Does anyone know that if you mix motrin and eurthurmicin if you can get severe diahhreh? I am Bipolar and some other drugs but i am also lactose intolerent and the only way I can take the motrin is with a little bit of milk. Now I have Diarrhea so i bad I can barely leave the bathroom. I also vomited twice and I can't get enough to drink I have drank three 32oz. glasses of water with ice and am going on number four. Can anyone help me at all? Off to the pot I go again only to get thirsty again. Please help me.

I have strep throat right now. I began feeling sick on Sat. night. How long is it before you stop being contagious (currently on 2nd day of antibiotics)? Also, can it worsen before it gets better? Anything else you think I should know?

ok so I've been getting nosebleeds on and off for about 3-4 days now. On one day I even had 5 nosebleeds and each time I manage to stop it, it comes back later in the day. How do I stop this permanently? Or whats wrong? I prefer if people who have had the same experience to answer this. And no I haven't been inhaling paint or markers or anything like that.

I go to the Veterans Hospital and dang, you can't understand them,and my child has one thru Tenncare and he is a Muslim.I'm worried they might kill my kid. I ain't worried for myself, I stay in to much pain. But it makes me sick a Veterans Hospital. Why can't they stay in their own countries and help their people,instead of coming here and feeding on us like leeches, taking our money.
