There is a product made just for that called a foot cradle. They have them in nursing homes and hospitals. I would check at a local pharmacy to see if they could order one, or look online.

Put a chair at the foot of the bed with its back touching the end of your bed. Drape the blankets over the back of the chair. I had a friend who had to do this after foot surgery. It worked until the fancy gadget from the catalog arrived.

If you're looking for something fairly permanent, get one of those fancy gadgets from the catalog. Dr Leonard has an online catalog with home healthcare items and other stuff. Find the address by using Google.

The device is called a bed cradle. It is used to prevent pressure areas on the feet. You might find it at a medical supply store.

I've seen these 'cages' in catalogs made for just that purpose. Maybe try 'Solutions' or 'Make Life Easier' or some catalog like that.

I use Helium Balloons. Two, one on each corner. They lift slightly and you still have a covered feeling.

If this is a joke, I don't get it. If you don't have any arms, I'm sorry.
