Did you ever wonder if your body was suited to maintain it's level of water at the deal level of alcalinity of 7.35 to 7.45 , if so, how is it done?. Could it be that the immune system took care of it right? Maybe, considering the immune system was as healthy as it should be. How does the immune system maintain it's water at the ideal level even if we consume 8 glasses of the purest water available on a daily basis? Was this water tested for alcalinity level before yiu drank it. Curious, contact me by email at: trekcir66@yahoo.com to the attention of Robert Rickert.

My grandama had a stroke 2 years ago we had her in assisted living for the last 2 years. However last month she fell down and fractured her hip and now she has to be in a wheelchair. The staff think she has gone past the type of care that they offer at assited living and she needs more of a 1 on 1 nursing home to tend to her.
She is very stubborn and hates the fact she has to be in assited living to beguin with, she thinks she is the temproraily and will be back to her old life pre-stroke but this is untrue. One time I accidently asked how her nursing home is and she got angry and said don't ever cal lit that and hung up on me.

How do I let her know that we need to move her to this new place.. She is not going to take it well.

My best friend of 13 yrs. died on Valentines Day of 2006. I never knew she had cancer. I never received a phone call. I never thought that she would be gone. We hadn't talked since November of 2005 but we were still friends, or so i thought we were. Maybe she didn't want me to know that she was dying? I always thought that she was the stongest person i have ever met. When i went to her funeral and saw her lying in that cold box not smiling, not breathing, i didn't know what to do. I had my mother on one arm and my little sister on the other and my boy-friend standing behind me, all holding me up.Why did she never tell me that she was sick? Was our friendship not really a friendship? I am so overwelmed by this, could anyone out there help me?

I wake up with gas. On the way to work I start feeling sick. I normally get a sausage biscuit from Hardee's. But the last few days I haven't been able to finish it because I felt so nausiated. When I get to work I have diarrhea. I go to my desk where my stomach aches and makes really weird sloshy noises all day. Everytime I have a bowel movement its green and has a horrible odor (worse than normal). At lunch my appetite has been non-existent. Dinner is the same. I'll feel kind of hungry, but once I get food, I just pick at it. It makes me sick just thinking about food. My stomach normally feels gross until about 7 or 8 PM, then I get a headach. The headach lasts until I go to sleep. Getting to sleep has been horrible. I sit awake for a long time. Sleep itself is in and out. I haven't been sleeping well at all. I haven't changed any eating, sleeping, or exercise habbits. What could be wrong with me?

I have one every 6-8 weeks and I think it's the weather or climate causing mine. I'm on a nightly preventative medicine which is actually a seizure medicine and I take Frova and 4 motrin when one comes on. I want to know what other people take and how that works for you.
Thanks!

i use acuve daily contact lens and i find them alot better than mouthly contacts, however by the end of the day, my eyes get really dry and sore and i find i either rub my eyes so much that they go bloodshot or there so sore i have to replace my contacts with a new, fresh pair (which means i get through two/three pairs a day and its getting expensive!) Also when my eyes start getting sore and dry and i rub them, i get very intense headaches and have to lie down and take tablets....

what are the best contacts to use that dont dry eyes up so much and stay comfortable ALL day long?

At what score on the Braden Scale does the patient become "at risk" for pressure ulcers? I'm not finding anything on the internet except a copy of the Braden Scale itself, but no instructions or "best practice".
Can anyone out there help me?

Since I had my son, 9 years ago, I have had discomfort. Mainly it feels like my throat is closing up and that my back is all tensed. Often feeling like I need my back cracked. I did have my gall bladder checked while pregnant because sometimes when I ate, I felt sick and would almost pass out When I was pregnant with my daughter, 2 years ago, I often got what I thought to be acid reflux. But the only way to make myself feel better was to make myself sick. In the last year I have noticed that when I eat high fatty foods, gravy, melted cheese, fried fish or Kentucky Fried Chicken, I feel okay, but wake up in the middle of the night throwing up. Sometimes I even wake up in the morning needing to make myself sick to get rid of it. But it always the specific food, not everything I ate that ends up coming up. I wouldn't call it a pain, although I have a high tolerancy for pain, it is more like everything inside me has tensed up leaving me finding it hard to breathe and uncomfortable
