try aquaphore and eucerine or see your doctor for a perscription i have to use triamcinolone which is a steroid because mine is so bad. i also have to take shots sometimes and i take steroid pills. but use nonscented lotion, soaps, and detergent. i say use aveeno oatmeal formula, dove for the soap, and purex free and clear for the detergent. the detergent has no scent or color so it won't irritate your skin. take an aveeno oatmeal bath too to relieve the itching. and to help moisturized the skin try the wet pj treatment. dunk your clothes in water and ring them out. put them in the dryer to warm them. then just soak in a bath tub for 15 minutes and then apply the lotion or ointment do this for 3 or 4 nights and your skin will seem so much different because the moisture stays on your skin instead of rubbing off. you can protect your mattress and pillows by buying plastic coverings for them. eczema is a non curable disease that is caused by a build up of dead skin cells since the skin cells produce more rapidly than normal skin. since your skin cells produce more rapidally that means no layer of natural moisture like normal skin. that also means less acne since the skin is natrually dry. (excluding where oil usually builds up ie nose and chin) i've had eczema for 15 years (all my life) and i still amaze doctors with how bad my skin gets. the white marks that eczema may leave might go away or can be permanents scarring but keep putting lotion on it to reduce visibility and keep moisture on the skin. check ya later ♥

I had eczema for a good portion of my life and no cream worked for me. It took a trial of Aveeno lotion...And then my rashes literally disappeared overnight. What I recommend is oatmeal based lotion or a soak in colloidial oatmeal for a while.

Reccomended brands are:
Aveeno
Lubederm (oatmeal based)

Well start out with Hydrocortizone 1%, if that doesn't work, go to your dermatologist for a steroid cream. They will probably put you on one like Elidel.
