Since I had my son, 9 years ago, I have had discomfort. Mainly it feels like my throat is closing up and that my back is all tensed. Often feeling like I need my back cracked. I did have my gall bladder checked while pregnant because sometimes when I ate, I felt sick and would almost pass out When I was pregnant with my daughter, 2 years ago, I often got what I thought to be acid reflux. But the only way to make myself feel better was to make myself sick. In the last year I have noticed that when I eat high fatty foods, gravy, melted cheese, fried fish or Kentucky Fried Chicken, I feel okay, but wake up in the middle of the night throwing up. Sometimes I even wake up in the morning needing to make myself sick to get rid of it. But it always the specific food, not everything I ate that ends up coming up. I wouldn't call it a pain, although I have a high tolerancy for pain, it is more like everything inside me has tensed up leaving me finding it hard to breathe and uncomfortable

You liver and gall bladder both need to be checked. It sounds like you body isn't producing the enzymes it needs to function correctly. This could be because of your liver malfunctioning. The liver is a factory for various enzymes and proteins essential to a healthy body, without them muscle and grow tense, as well as the diaphram and heart. Your blood vessels and loose their flexability, and other organs can begin to shut down. This is most evident by the fact that you cannot break down fats and complex proteins. See your doctor, and tell him what you are experiencing, he'll run blood tests to check for these proteins and enzymes. He will also probably do a gastric test, to see if these chemicals are missing in the stomach. This can be life threatening, and should be addressed with a professional immediately.

That could definately be your gall bladder. You should go to the Dr. and get it checked out. I had my gall bladder removed several years ago after experiencing many of the symptoms that you describe in your question. I got better gradually and now I don't ever have the problems that I experienced before the removal.

Well, three months after I had my last child. I had to have my gallbladder out. I was constantly getting what I thought at the time was real bad heartburn.I had a constant pain. It wasn't until I started throwing up, getting the chills and fever that I finally realized something more serious was wrong but by then my gallbladder was infected and I had to have my gallbladder taken out immediately. Hope this helps some but I'd imagine everyone reacts differently to a gallbladder attack. Best bet is to go back to your doctor, only he can find out what's wrong. The symptoms you describe though sound more like acid reflux as you were saying.

your symptoms are suggestive of a ? gastric or duodenal ulcer.
you should see a surgeon and have an ultrasound abdomen and if needed a gastroscopy. Gall bladder disease (cholecystitis) is unlikely as you may have acute abdominal pain associated with it. But nothing can be said about diagnosis without clinically examining the patient.
So you should see a Surgeon soon. No hurry and no need to worry.

Sounds like it could be your gall bladder.

Why do you keep eating things that make you sick?

I'm with dubitwo, I had my gallbladder out and didn't have ANY of those symptoms. I was about to write NO when I saw your question, until I read the other answers and realized everyone must have different symptoms. The best answer will come from your doctor.
