i use acuve daily contact lens and i find them alot better than mouthly contacts, however by the end of the day, my eyes get really dry and sore and i find i either rub my eyes so much that they go bloodshot or there so sore i have to replace my contacts with a new, fresh pair (which means i get through two/three pairs a day and its getting expensive!) Also when my eyes start getting sore and dry and i rub them, i get very intense headaches and have to lie down and take tablets....

what are the best contacts to use that dont dry eyes up so much and stay comfortable ALL day long?

sounds like you need to use eye refresher drops. i've never used daily lenses, but i have weekly ones and they work great. also, the headaches could be caused by having the wrong prescription.

I use daily disposables, I tend to leave them in a few days at a time. They weren't acuvue though the were the cheapest brand available. If they made me uncomfortable, I would take them out, use eye drops and just use glasses for a while. If you definitely have the right prescription, maybe you are rubbing your eyes too hard and its giving you a headache. What you should try is just roll your eyes, very briefly. Or get one of those special eye masks with the blue gel, available at boots. Best advice though is to tell your optician.

when I wore contacts I had to use "tears" all day long to keep the eye moist.
it also helped with preserving the contacts. I had two different brands and both had the same effect on my eyes. I was lucky in a way, had cataract surgery which gave me 20/20 vision , a big surprise. Artificial "tears" were my only help before the surgery.

If it retains dealing with the subsequent month then determine each morning you fill your touch case with heat water and enable it take a seat all day with the cap closed. And formerly you place them on wash your palms. as quickly as you have them on your finger squirt slightly answer into ur palm and rub your touch gently to scrub it. this would desire to be a ordinary! If it nevertheless does not help there is probable some thing incorrect with the answer, so get Optifree fill up! you may get it everywhere and that is solid on your eyes! i exploit it! solid success! :-)

well this happened to me and u might actually be having an allergic reaction to the contacts..try wearing glasses for a couple of days and see how ur eyes feel...if they feel much better then it might be gps...which is giant pappilary syndrome..its not as scary as it sounds but u might have to change ur brand of contacts.

You might just need to use eye drops that are gentle on contacts. Or it could be that you need to see your doctor and let him/her know what is going on. They should be able to let you know how to prevent the constant drying up of your contacts.

Don't use contacts regularly ... specially at night or while it is windy and dusty.... use Refresh Tears... an eyedrop which is really good.
