Its not seratonin, but serotonin. Its a neurotransmisor (substance used by the neurons ito communicate with each other in the brain) involved in mood conditions. Not enough of it can cause mood disorders such as depression. Prozac is a, antidepressive medicine used to restore the captation of serotonin in the brain to its appropiate levels.
