Hi i hope you can give me some advice; I have developed a tingly feeling in my left hand pinky finger over the past year or so and this tingling and numbness is now spreading to the next finger; i have full use of my fingers and they dont really 'hurt' but its starting to worry me; i fell down the stairs about 7 years ago (im 29 now) and dislocated my left elbow so do you think it could be a result of this?

I've got 3 bulging discs in my back, and my doctor prescribed Propoxyphene-n 100 w/acetaminophen (generic Darvocet) to get me through till my orthopedic appt at the end of March. I know this is the highest dose, but after about 2 hours, the pain came back. It isn't as bad as it is without the meds, but it's there. I don't know if I should just ignore it or try to get something stronger. I can work okay taking the Darvocet, so I worry if I took something else, I'd be unable to function normally.

I guess I'm just wondering if there's something a bit stronger that won't make me unable to work.

A few months ago I came down on my knee and the doctor said all i had done is damaged the cartlidge in my knee.
And that it would be fine.
However its a few months down the line and i still can't run fully on it..it just dosent feel right and eventually begins to hurt.

A friend told me the doctor should have informed me to go for P.therepy on it..but its a few months down the line now.

Is this fixable? Anyone had the same problem and are better now?

thanks!

I am just curious because I really don't want to deal with contacting the company and being put on hold right now, Id just like to have some input...a portable nebulizer is an asthma machine that puts liquid albuterol into mist to help breathing out.

The pain is from the beginning of my crack all the way down to buttocks. It barely happens but I am worried about what it could be. I am 19 weeks pregnant and it has happened about three times since my pregnancy, but it happened before I was ever pregnant also. Does anyone know what this could be?
Gas pains? Something wrong?

I've been walking for about 2-1/2 months now. So far I've brought down my 1-mile walk from 22min-16min. I tried slowly increasing my speed some days and other days I just went for a longer time at a slower speed. The problem is my knee. I popped it 5-6 years ago and it's never been the same. Just yesterday I was walking(not exercising) and it popped in and out of place. I mean it's one of those pops where you hear it and it hurt for a little while but the pain has mostly gone away. I think it may have done this because of my exercising, but I'm not sure. While I've been exercising, I start to limp and my knee doesn't hurt but I just can't seem to not limp on it. This has only happened since I injured it. I've tried wearing a knee brace but it will still pop in that. I think it may be my tennis shoes too, because I haven't gotten any walking shoes yet. I guess I want to know what I should do to be able to walk easier on that knee like some stretches or anything else i can try. thanks

I have been having arch pain in both feet for a couple of years. Recently, the pain seems to worsen due to my increased participation in running activities. I have tried the arch support prescribed by my doctor for approximately 1 month but the pain still does not go away. Currently, I am waiting for my appointment with a bone specialist as my previous doctor does not seem to know how to treat my condition and that she suspected that my condition is plantar fasciitis. I have also tried taking painkillers, and applying anti-inflammatory drugs on my painful site but all these does not seem to work. On further research, I found that corticosteroid shots seems to work for a lot of people but complications may develop. Moreover, corticosteroid shots are painful as I have heard from a lot of people and through talks on forums on the web. Now I am at a loss as to what I should do. Can anyone provide me with some advice? Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am a diabetic so therefore when I bruise, they don't go away for years at a time. If I cut myself while shaving my legs, or possibly get a papercut, it stays there for years (dark spots on my skin). I was wondering if anyone knew of a cream, a very good skin cream (dermatology tested) that removes dark spots over time?

Hubby is having spinal surgery Monday. Two x-stops ( fairly new procedure) are being placed along the spine, which i have seen on TV and did a lot of reading on, it has a very high rate of success. However, the compression in one area is to severe for this so he is have a Laminectomy. So many people that we meet say" don't have it unless you absolutely have to" Or "it did not help that much" or "i am worse now" .At this point , he has days he can not stand up straight and is living on pain meds. The doctors asst says that it can take up to 6 mos in some people for recovery. He will need a walker and a back brace post op. I would like some imput from those of you who have had this done. How long were you in the hospital? How was the pain following the surgery? Did it work as well as you hoped it would. Any bits of info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
p.s. he is 54 years old.

Ten days ago, I took a total of 20mg oxycodone. Now I have to take a very specific drug test that picked up darvocet in a friend after 6 days. So is 10 to 12 days long enough to completely be gone? Is there anything I can do to assure clean blood and urine tests at this point??? I already know not to take anymore and that's done, but what to do about what's already been done!! I NEED TO CORRECT A HUGE MISTAKE SO HOW LONG?????????
