I am constantly having back pain. Especially in the shoulder/upper area. Does anyone know of any exercises or anything else that relieves the pain(besides pain killers).

I would suggest seeing a chiropractor, mine was a blessing. He helped me in so many ways, I would also suggest taking your arms and putting them in a corner one on each wall and leaning in to the corner, putting just a little pressure at 1st then holding for a few seconds and try doing this 3-5 times at-least 5 times throughout the day. This is a great stretch, and is something chiropractors recommend.to release stress in the muscles in that area.

Check with a physical therapist. I was given a huge thing like a rubber band one time that I had to attach to a door handle and pull with both hands. It did seem to help. Also try a chiropractor. You may need a few good adjustments. (My pain is chronic). After an adjustment, I'm good for a while.

I would ask your doctor for a referral to a physical therapist. Pain in the mid-back is often related to your posture. A physical therapist will be able to tailor a specific treatment regimen to your needs and can also perform joint mobilization if needed.

As someone who has gone to many Chiropractors, 14 in all. I would recommend finding a good one in your area. I had a problem where I couldn't raise my arm above my head without pain, and my first Chiropractor fixed it easily. They can usually fix your problem in one treatment. One who also does acupuncture or acupressure would be a bonus. You can also try someone who does deep muscle massage. My first experience with a Chiroprator was a good one. I felt so good there I didn't want to leave. Good Luck.

you might want to see a dr 1st to make sure that there is no buldge disc or herniated disc if the pain is that bad. You can make it worst by doing certain excercises. But you can stretch to get some confort
