Since my surgery a couple of months ago, and since then I have really bad gas and awful BMs. I was warned this would happen, but I'm wondering how long it will last? Anybody else go through this or still going through it?

My father was rushed to the hospital this morning because of excushiating pain in his upper abdomen. He was sweating, shaking adn vomiting. My father was crying...AND HE DOSEN'T Cry! He's overweight and been under a lot of stress...he's went home early from work because he didn't feel good yesterday...but around 2am last night the pain became more apparent. SOOo is there anything else it could be? And what could happen if it is Gaulbladder? Could he die? I'm very worried and just need some info FAST!

If we feed her just formula she inhales it all then throws it back up in about two minutes. she wont throw up if we add cereal. my wife's mother said its acid reflux disease. is she wrong? or is it something else that is causing it?

I've been having lower back pain for about a month since making an awkward movement (lifting a t-top off of a friend's car.) It's been sore since then but the real problem is spasms/seizures. The spasms come with no warning, and no amount of caution seems to prevent them. When seated, I sit on the edge of the chair with my back held artificially straight. When trying to sleep I lay on my side in a tight fetal position, but it still seizes with absolutely no movement on my part. The pain only lasts about 3 seconds, but it is blinding, excruciating etc. If I'm standing when it happens. I'll involuntarily collapse to my knees, or fall completely over. I can only guess that it must be a compromised nerve - does anyone/any doctor out there have any experience or advice?
