Hi,
I don't lead a highrisk lifesyle. I have always had protected sex (condom) and I have had three partners unprotected. The first was a mistake, the second time was with my boyfriend and now the third time is with a new boyfriend. I am really scared of getting HIV and after we had unprotected sex I got really scared. I just got tested a month before but I am worried he might have AIDS. He doesn't live a high risk lifestyle and he told me he is clean but I don't know who he has slept with in the past and yesterday he got the flu... am I being paranoid? Is AIDS really easy to get because I am scared.

Also, would or has anybody here take their boyfriend/girlfriend for an AIDS test before they had unprotected sex? I know it is recommended but it is kind of awkward to ask and I don't know what to do. I don't know if Im being paranoid or not.

it was an STD. Now he thinks I cheated on him, and I know I didn't! And I know he didn't cheat on me either. How else could he have gotten this? I am going to get checked myself tomorrow. I do have an unpleasent odor after sex, and somethimes a white thick substance after sex. What could it be? Where did it come from? Thank you.

I was reciently diagnosed with HPV by a pap smear. I am schedualed for a colposcopy in Dec. I am having a clear discharge, redness and itching. I am very irritated. I have no warts that I can see yet. The doctors thought that I was having an allergic reaction to a yeast infection cream but I was given a shot for that and the redness cleared up for a few days and now is back. It is not unbearable pain but it is uncomfortable. I was just wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms and if there is anything I can do to alleviate my discomfort till Dec. Everywhere you read it says no symptoms but I did find these symptoms listed on Yahoo health. Could this mean I am about to have an outbreak of warts? Also if you have had these symptoms did they eventually go away? THANKS

Now, I understand, you can get them through contact and such like. But......I also understand that once you have the virus, you all ways have it and you will most likely keep getting warts forever. But to pass the virus on to some one else, do you have to have a wart or not? Can you pass on one without actually having a wart present or can people just catch it from having contact with you...who has the virus?

ok, so i have no clue what is going on with me but i noticed that i have slight yellow discharge, my neck is kinda sore...my bed SUCKS anyway, and it burns not only when i pee but when i drink soda or feel dehydrated...my tonsils are swollen also but they always are because of unresolved strep. what is this?

Its been a year now and im having discharges. I got some tiny pimple like on my external labia is this something alarming. Does anyone knows what it is. Docs always say its normal I got tested of HIV , gonnoreah and syphilis , paps smear and gram stain its all normal. i dont know what is going on with me. My symptoms are as followed:
-Itchy vagina all over
-Swollen labia minora from itching
-Strange but not painful peeling in my vestibule.
-Extreme pain on my verineum.

I found out 8 or more months ago I had Trich, i didnt catch it from my current boyfriend, and i wore a condom when i was infected... It was so embarrassing. I went to the gynocologist and she gave me pills. After I took the pills i had no more symptoms. So Im Assuming I was cured...2 days ago i started having the same symptoms again... I have been with the same guy for 7 months. Could he just have had it and not know from his last relationship, and just now gave it to me?? Or Is it possible that ive still had it since then? .... My doctor diagnosed me with HPV without any test made. My Papsmear is normal and when i used the cream she gave me which is aldara burned my skin and became cold sores. I changed doctor and Doctor 2 told me that i have not warts. I am having chicken skin on my vulva is that normal. I am confused. Doctor 1 wants me to get cauterized Doctor 2 says no. I dont konw whom to believe. Doctor 2 gave me a cream that will heal the cold sores that got damage from Doctor 1 effect on medicine. I had cervical dystplasia and had to get a hystorectomy that took out my cervix and uterus, so my question is do I need to worry about getting cervix cancer or any other STD from oral sex w/ an HPV carrier, even if no outbreak was current. What are the symptoms of HPV and do I need to go to the doctor?

Just recently I discovered that a "friend" of mine has genital warts. No Big deal yet my husband and I recently had sex with her (wearing a condom of course) she said she hasn't had an outbreak for 5 years, w/e anyway, does anyone know if you can get that by just licking her, and if there was a cut on a finger (you know) do I have any reason to worry? What's the probability of sperm penetrating the skin of a condom?

How about the probability of STD viruses penetrating, like HIV?

I heard 11% somewhere, but I wasn't sure.
