My future husband knows what is going on with me of cors. I am just trying to get rid of the warts and im not sure if cautery is the fastest way to do it without suffering from the burn skin taking aldara cream. That cream gave me cold sores just on my second application so i stopped using it.

Well lets see if I can shed some light on it. I too was diagnosed with HPV, but that's because my Papsmear came back irregular. Just because you have HPV does not mean you always get warts. There are like 47 different strands of the virus of HPV. Guys carry it and dont even know they have it in the strand I have. There is no way to test men with HPV unless they contract the warts kind. If Doc no.1 said you had HPV, and Doc no.2 said you dont, then chances are you need to get tested for an HPV test. Pap smears DO NOT always find HPV. Most the time it goes un-diagnosed which can lead to Cervical Cancer. This is the strand I have. What they do in an HPV test, is very close to what they do with a Pap Smear. They sit you on the table, spray your cervix with a Vinegar substance, and then look for white cells. The more cells they see that turn white, the more they can test you for Displacia or HPV. They usually do a biopsy with that, (which is where they clip your inside of your cervix with a tool) and send those cells (that had turned white) to a lab to diagnose what you have exactly. I recommend going to a GYNO since they are the ones who specialize, and specifically ask for an HPV test. That's just my two cents.

Okay I'm a little confused with your question. First you say your 1st doctor said it was HPV and then you are talking about cold sores.

HPV and the virus that causes cold sores (herpes simplex virus) and two different viruses, that have nothing to do with each other.

Were you diagnosed with genital warts? That IS caused by HPV and IS treated with Aldara cream.

I have had HPV for over 5 years now. About 10 months ago I had genital warts and was also prescribed Aldara cream, and yes it does burn! I was in so much pain after using it for 3 weeks I actually went to the ER. They were not able to do anything for me and told me to go back to my doctor. My doctor told me to just keep using it. About another 2 weeks later the warts finally went away! It took about 5 weeks, but they eventually did go away.

How often were you using the Aldara cream? You are only suppose to use it 3 times a week because it can give a person 2nd and 3rd degree burns, believe it or not. And, you have to give it time! It takes a while using the cream.

Try, if you can bare it, to use the cream some more. You can also have the doctor apply a cream in the office. And, if you HAVE to, you can get them removed with surgery. I kind of saw this as a last resort though.

It's time to call doctor number 3.

Cold sores and warts are not the same thing, and are not caused by the same virus.

I would suggest you get your medical record from both doctors before you see doctor number 3. It should be no big deal at all to get that. People switch doctors all the time. Just go in or call, and they'll either hand it to you, or fax it to the new doctor.

Cold sores, come on you know that the cold sores are herpes simplex virus. Tell your boyfriend before you give it to him (if you already haven't). You need to track down the many many people including the women that you had sex with and tell them that you could have given them the herpes simplex virus.

Go to a good Homeopathic Physician. Taking the Homeopathic remedy SULFUR 200 just once a day for three days will antidote the bad effects of any medicine and will help you get back to your healthy self, without any side effects or complications.
Take Care and God Bless you !
