I found out 8 or more months ago I had Trich, i didnt catch it from my current boyfriend, and i wore a condom when i was infected... It was so embarrassing. I went to the gynocologist and she gave me pills. After I took the pills i had no more symptoms. So Im Assuming I was cured...2 days ago i started having the same symptoms again... I have been with the same guy for 7 months. Could he just have had it and not know from his last relationship, and just now gave it to me?? Or Is it possible that ive still had it since then? .... Somebody said i could get it from not washing my sheets after i took the pillz.. but what about a blanket? i dont remember if i washed it before i put it away or not.... *!* Confused *!* Please Somebody Help Me *!*!*

I 'm kinda curious as to why your doctor never requested you come back to the office to get retested after taking your antibiotics. But that is neither here nor there i suggest that you and your boyfriend go to the doctor/ clinic ASAP and get tested(both of you). In the event that one or both of you is infected DO NOT HAVE SEX until you both finish your antibiotics and go back to the doctor/clinic to be retested. I realize you both are in a serious relationship however I would still use a condom each and every time . Good luck make sue you Both go ASAP!!!!!!!

It seems more likely that the original infection you had wasn't totally cured,so what you are having now is just a relapse. It is quitecommon for this to happen and thats the reason you have to get retested with the doctor after you have finished a course of antibiotic. You will have to go back to your gyne and your partner too will have to be treated,as he is most probably harbouring the bacteria and could reinfect you.

This is a sexually transmitted disease of the vagina or urethra caused by the Trich, a single-celled organism with a whiplike tail. Affects with men and women but more comm on in women with 20% of the women's vagina infected during their reproductive years. In men it affects the urethra, prostate and bladder ,rarely causing symptoms however. More difficult to detect in men than in women.

(AM having to narrow down and edit a lot of the information here)- intercourse may be painful and painful frequency of urinating may occur, resembling symptoms of bladder infection.
I will skip the diagnostic information: Treatment: A single oral doze of metronidazoles cures up to 95% of infected women, provided their sex partners are treated simultaneously. Since it is not known whether a single-dose treatment in men is effective, men usually are treated for 7 days.
If taken with alcohol, metronidazole may cause a decrease in white blood cells and in women, an increased susceptibility to vaginal yeast infections (genital Candida's). This treatment of methron. is best avoided during pregnancy, at least for first 3 months. Couples having intercourse before treatment is completed and cured are like to reinfect their partners. marlyne B

It could be all of the above except from your bed sheets. Go get tested again and have your boyfriend get tested too. Good luck.
