I have a friend who weighs about 300 pounds, and she has a problem that maybe a dermatologist could help with. Because of her weight, her abdomen sort of folds over , and underneath it--from hip to hip and across the tops of her thighs--she has this terrible problem with sweat accumulation. She uses antibacterial soap to bathe with, and has used creams (Desitin, cortisone-types, and medicated powders--sometimes alone and sometimes the powder on top of the cream) to keep it dry, but nothing has worked. It is so heavy sometimes she can even scoop it up on her fingers ( it is a pale yellow color and has a fairly strong odor). It looks like a first-degree burn on her skin. Prior to her hysterectomy in 1997, it happened only before her period. Now it's an everyday occurrence, and it gets very sore.Within the last year, she has had it behind her knees as well (it has blistered & even bled there). Any suggestions about the cause or how to cure it?? Medical help appreciated.

On my lower right leg is a 3" radius patchy red area that keeps itching, I've applied aloe for 3 weeks and its not healed yet. also It appears like new skin is trying to come in or it may be pealing off. I just want that area to be normal again, any suggestions on what to do? I bought Cortizone OTC, however it didn't help. I applied 66^ aloe creame made by Miracle Hand Repair, same issue. I'm willing to try anything now.

Alright - I've used almost everything you could think of for acne from Proactive to Clean & Clear, from Acnefree to Clearasil, and nothing has worked. I've been to the dermatologist a few times and I am currently on Brevoxyl Creamy Wash and Differen Cream....Wow, it is alot better on my forehead but now I am getting them on my chin and in various places...
How can I become clear? Acne is literally RUNNiNG MY LiFE!
Also I've been on this stuff for three weeks I guess...Is that enough time for my skin to heal?
I really wanna be clear before school starts in about three weeks!
Thanks guys!

Ive tried Vicks vapor rub too greasy and you have to use it every day that rolls for the rest of your life. I need something that will get rid of it. Without having to go to doctor.

I was making something in the oven last night and halfway through cooking, it had to be turned over. So I spent about 3-4 minutes in front of an open oven at 475 degrees, turning it over. I never made contact with any part of the oven, but today, the arm that I was using to turn the fish sticks over with is really painful to the touch. It isn't red or blistered, it jsut hurts to touch. Is this even a burn? I have never heard of being burned with indirect heat. If it is, can it be treated like any other burn?

I have very bad poison ivy on the top of my foot and on my ankle. I have had it for about 5 days and it has become very painful. It will not stop oozing and my skin has become purple around it. My foot has also swollen. It is becoming difficult to walk due to the position of the rash. I would appreciate it if some one could let me know of an at home method of riding it.

Hello, I have a mild psoriasis condition on my scalp and my mom gave me a topical cream that she says will make it go away. I used it for a few weeks and its going well, its just pink now with no blotchy scales.

The medication is produced in France and I dont understand French so I dont know if its dangerous or not. Its called Diprosalic Pommade, voie cutanee. Any information on this would be helpful - Thanks!
