Skin Conditions - July 2007

ok i got this darn poison ivy and now it is really bothering me "go figure right lol" anyways i have it all over the left side of my face, left ear, head "im bald" just under my nose, left and right forarms and a little on my leg. i know alot of people say use oatmeal or something but mine is all over and in alot of places. alsi i currently have caladryl, some anti-itch oinment, and ivy-dry. it dont really itch and when it does i can handle that, my problem is this nast guuuuuu stuff that wont stop coming. i have had this real bad since sunday and it hasnt stopped. it oozes from my left cheek and my ear. it is like a nasty yellowish color, i tried to cover it "with a band-aid" but there is so much it goes thru and continues to fall down my face. i dont have insurance so i dont really want to go to docs/hospital. plz help i need this nasty stuff to quit coming out.

Where can i get this Vitamin E Gel and what type of brand are they. Can i get them at CVS or Rite Aid? Can you give me a link for CVS or RiteAId or anywhere xD...i have a lot of acne scars and it does not seem to dissapear =[

I've had adult acne for over 5 years and came off the the pill around 2.5 years ago. My acne has never improved and have noticed a considerable amount of facial hair in the last 8 months. I saw a hormone specialist who told me I have low preogesterone and gave me a course of hormone cream which I absorbed thru the skin which I did for 5 weeks. I started to get my periods every 2 weeks. My doctor then advised that I should insert the cream thru the vagina as its more effective this way. After another 6 weeks of this I was still having periods every 2 weeks so she then prescribed me progesterone lozeneges. After 1 month of this still having periods for 2 weeks, acne getting worse and facial hair not disappearing I have given up and gone back on the pill to stop my period for a while and have break from acne. I still have breakouts but not as severe but facial hair has become worse. I would like to start a family next year and wondering If anyone can help me further. I don't have PCOS.

this is the 6th day, the infection seems not as bad but im also diabetic and im not sure if i should be concerned with getting gangrene, so any info on removing this dead flesh would be appreciated. thank you all

My nose always appears more red than the rest of my face, is there a way to fix this besides just covering it up with makeup? Preferably something natural as I don't want to go buy some product from the store... Also, it has nothing to do with acne, I don't know why my nose is like this, stupid nose.

I don't get very many spots on my face or chest, but I get tons on my back. It's really strange and it really frustrates me. I take a shower pretty much everyday, try to use non-perfumed soaps and have tried e45 and medicinal soap. should I go to my doctor or should I try and see a dermatologist? what causes this kind of thing, is it eating badly? i'm 16 and i do my best to be healthy by excercising and keeping within the BMI for my height and weight.

I have these horrible red bumps on my feet that itch like heck. They have spread. Yesterday, I had just 2, and they were on the same toe, but now I have 15, and they are all over both feet. What should I do? What are they? Please help, they hurt and itch.

My skin is very dry and rough. It itches violently especially while going to bed at night. It disturbs my sleep and I must scratch my skin for relief. If I scratch the place of itching changes to some other place and this is a continuous process on all days. The same is the problem with my scalp. Kindly suggest me what to do to get rid of this suffering.

I sat on a curling iron about 4 days ago, I didnt think it was that bad so started treating it at home. It didnt look so good this is the way it looked almost the size of half of my palm. Its very pinkish like my skin had been burnt off. Theres a little bit of blood kind of seeping out from under the flesh. I was concerned after 2 days so i went to the er. They said it is a deep second degree. They gave me some anti bacteria cream and some guaze to put on it. And told me to see a doctor in a couple days for a follow up. I wont see a doctor till 3 more days what I''m wondering is whether to keep applying the cream on it. Since i feel like all the cream is doing is fighting bacteria but not helping it heal. Should i apply neosporin? Would that help since this is a really deep burn i dont think aloe jell is going to help since I've tried that also. Any suggestions of advice before i see a doctor?

Well, here is my problem, my skin is terrible, I have clogged pores everwhere, plus little red bumps all over my skin. My face gets irritated quite easily, just by opening my mouth to eat something my skin gets red, wtf. I have scarred pores on my nose, and have long hairs, yes hairs, growing all over my face. I have tried Avita ( retin-a), and I am currently using beta-hydroxy lotion, which hasn't done much to improve my appearence. I have been on many acne medications, but I am starting to think it isnt acne, because nothing works. The worse part is I am only 18, and cant go out with confidence because of this problem. My skin just looks tired and unyouthful. Could I have some sort of skin disease, or do you guys have some remedy that will cure me?
Don't tell me to wash my face because I do, but it doesnt seem to do much.

okay so the AcneFree kit is basically ALL benzoyl peroxide and it hurts my face and seems to make the Acne worse. should i stick with a mild cleanser and get some other kind of acne cream?? what are some NATURAL cures that are cheap?

Well actually anywhere my skin rubs gets black heads and acne. It is embarassing and I don't want to live like this. It is hard to wear a swimsuit. Do you know what to treat it with. Money is no object. Help!!!!! It is under my arms, under my breast and between my legs.
