So its gross, I hate it so much and its in my armpit. Has anyone ever removed one themselves?

I've had some, but I was afraid to remove them myself, so I went to the doctor. Good luck. 2D

I have, mine was really big too. You can remove one, yes. But if it's sensitive or really large you may want to see a doctor before you risk it. Remember, if you cut on off yourself you run the risk of infection if you don't take proper care and wash the tools you use and the area around the skin tag.

The easiest way to do it is to make sure you have a clean, sharp pair of scissors. Wash them thoroughly before you use them and let them dry. Wash your skin around the area as well. Use an ice cube and numb the area, and then clip the skin tag in one quick motion. Be ready with items to soak up blood/bandages etc. Mine bled pretty good for the first 5 minutes after I cut it. After that, just use regular bandaging techniques to take care of it. Mine healed with a slight discoloration on the scar but that's way better than a huge skin tag making your back look horrible.
