i have a small keloid scar

bean, so even with mederma, i cant make it atleast less visible? its ok if it doesnt get removed..as long as it's less visible

MEDERMA, ohhh but if its a keloid then it wont be able to get removed ....i have a hypertropic scar and keloids look alot like hypertropic scars...if YOUR scar is hard then its probably a keloid, im sorry there isnt a way to remove keloids, you can try to remove it surgically but its more likely it will come back... :( sorry

A dermatologist.

I have more than a few of my own to tend to shortly, and I'm not about to kid myself that anything over-the-counter will come close to working.

I strongly assume it's actually cheaper to go to a dermatologist. And if they then say an over-the-counter product will do the trick, then you know. Otherwise he/she can quote you the other medical treatments.

You can massage the keloid with vitamin e or other skin lotion. Unfortunately though, the bigger and deeper the scar, the less chance it will ever disappear completely.

I used cocoa butter, it helped my scar a lot. There are some that are even designed for that, it will say on the label

In my opinion vitamin e oil and it's much more inexpensive than other scar creams.
