Skin Conditions - July 2007

Hi,
Two days ago I washed my bed sheets. The next morning I wake up with an oddly shaped bag under my left eye and a bag above my right eye. I thought I just slept on my head weirdly. The swelling eventually went away during the day.
Then that night I laid down on my bed to read and within three minutes, my right eye lid swelled up. There were little bumps in the swelling. By now I figure I might have an allergic reaction to the newly-washed sheets. So I took the pillowcase off and reversed the bedding. I also ate an allergy tablet.
The next morning the swelling had gone down quite a bit. I was fine in a few hours.
Then in the afternoon, while walking down the street, all of a sudden, a swelling started to form under my right eye. Again, I noticed some bumps in the swelling.
Anyone has any idea what's going on? It seems to appear and disappear on its own. Thank you so much!
I'd go to a doctor but I'm travelling and I really don't want to go to the emergency room for this...

It has a diffrents colour than my normal skin, it is a red colour. Somebody told me it`s like that because the skin had no time to grow like the muscles. Is it true? How can i stop it? Can i make it dissapear? Now it starts on my biceps. I unde some good training and good suppliments, so my growing is quite fast

How long do cold sores last? My boyfriend thinks he has one on his upper lip and refuses to kiss me so I don't get it! It's driving me nuts. The same thing happened in Feb. of last year and he wouldn't kiss me for awhile but I can't remember how long it took to go away.

Today at the movie theaters my neck started itching. I thought it was nothing but throughout the movie my whole body was itching. Then outside I saw my arms had big red bumps on them. My friend said maybe its somethin' I ate. But I only ate McDonalds and popcorn. And I always eat that so it doesnt make sense I would have hives now. Could it be the chairs? I read online that widespread hives could be a sign of a viral infection? Should I go to the doctor?

A friend of mine have a dark tan spot under his armpit. It is about an inch. it round. Don't itch or hurt. I dont think it a rash or itchy problem.. anyone have any idea that is???

I am 16 years old and have old acne scars that I just can't seem to get rid of!! There are like small dark marks that are hard to cover up. Im currently using Acne Free Scar Fade and Erase and have seen hardly any results after using it for almost 3 weeks. Is there any inexpensive product I can try to fade them considerably??

will a facial help with my Blackheads?What do you do to thelp with this? ok a few days ago i could feel a pimple comming in under my nose and it hurt! soo i tried poping it but it hurt to much becuase it was big and its starting to look bad! there isint a white head on it yet is there any way i can get rid of it in 1 day?!?

I have such a mark on my groin. It is fairly small and is quite linear. At first I believed it to be just a strained muscle but it has been present for a few weeks now. It is not painful to touch. Does anyone have any idea what this is before I go and see a doctor? Any help is appreciated.

I asked a question about chickenpox and several people said "why have you not had your son vaccinated"? I didnt know there was such thing as a chickenpox vaccine!? Hes had all has jabs and immunisations, hes 3, and no doctor or nurse has ever mentioned a chickenpox vaccine. Do we have this in the UK? And why havent i heard of it??

Hi, ive got these flat brown spots in my pubic area which are about the size of a 20 cent piece, and a few little ones on the head of my penis. they kind of look like warts but they are flat.
i also have similar looking ones just under my chest. so i had a look on the internet and all that came up was genital warts, but im a virgin and have had no sexual contact with anyone. what do you think it could be?

i touched a pan fresh from the oven today, oops...
the burn looks white with maybe a blister and it hurts unless i have it on ice..im also keeping it elevated bc my friend said to

i mainly just want to know the way to get it healed the fastest as i am an avid bassist and this is a rather annoying inconvinence in my life ...
