You should wait until your incisions are fully closed.

And you should be asking your PS this, as he is getting paid to take care of you, and those of us who have had surgery may have had different treatments.

I understand how you feel. I began itching 2 days after my reduction and it drove me crazy. I kept my insisions taped for 6 weeks as this helps them to heal better and then started using Bio Oil when I stopped taping. You should speak with your Plastic Surgeon but the general time is at about 4 weeks when the insisions have closed completely.

I am now 2 months post op and still get itchy occassionally.
The itching is actually a really good sign thought because it means that they are healing.

They are itching because the incisions are trying to heal. As for the oil you want to use I would recommend checking with your doctor also to see what they say.
