Skin Conditions - April 2007

I dont understand why this happens to me occasionally - its so irritating and painful and I wear lipgloss all the time so its not like my lips are dry - does anyone have any sure fire ways to heal this quickly? It seems like when I use vaseline or anything it makes it worse.

I have a few questions? How long will I have to take off work? I know that scars are small but can you describe how small and how visible? and how long will it take for them to heal? to the point I can wear a bathingsuit and expose the scars?

Hi, im 20 and have acne for about 6 years now, i just dont no what to do, i have been to the Doctors and the have given me antiboitics and cream, but when i stop using them, weeks later they come back! What can i do to stop my acne?

i tend to feel itchy at night when I am lying on the bed to sleep or when i think of the word itchy, i tend to feel itchy! But I bath everyday and change the bedsheet every week. By the way, i did not see any bug or worm on the place where i felt itchy.. So what is that?? How come i feel itchy when theres nothing on my affected area??

My acne is back and with a vengeance. I had acne kinda bad few years ago. Then it pretty much stopped for a year or 2. now i noticed its coming back, even in places i never had it at before. What do i do? I get the pimples on my cheeks (Yes, my face) my chin area, my neck, shoulders/upperback.

I have some acne scars and pits and am very self concious of them. I don't have the money to have anything done to them. I have always had a lot of men like me and people tell me I am very attractive but I still feel ugly. Any helpful words on how to get over this? Do you think people really care about how skin looks? It is not really full of acne or anything,just scars. Thanks

grow really yellowed and really thick?? It is really unsightly. I wear full toed sandals all the time cuz` my feet r soo ugly. If anybody can help me it would really be appreciated. The 2 toes between my little one and "index, thumb toe are normal. What can I do??

I started noticing about a year ago that my left ring finger is "smelly" in between the tip of the nail and the skin right underneath. I can't really smell it when I sniff the finger tip, but when I pull the tip of the finger down away from the nail so that the space in between is exposed, I can definely smell something funky. No other finger does this.
Is this just some sort of infection? I tried cleaning the space underneath with some isopropanol 99% with some tissues and a toothpick, tried dipping the finger in isopropanol, etc., but doesn't help.
Perhaps this finger is connected to some vital organ and that this is some sort of indication of an organ problem?

I caught poison ivy this weekend. It hasn't gotten too bad yet. The worst place is along my jawline. I have used a little bleach on my other spots. But, to be honest, I'm a little wary of using bleach on my face. Thanks for any help!

It seems that I scar very easily. Everytime I get a scratch and blood can be seen, even the type of scrathes that don't require bandaids, it heals as a scar. Is this normal?
