there are numerous reasons for poor circulation, among these are heredity, disease, and injury. That you have blue fingertips is not normal....if you smoke, this is another possibility, but I would definitely see a doctor about it.

As has been said, there are a variety of things that can cause poor circulation. and it may be a genetic blood disorder. My fingers and toes turned blue/ grayish some months before I had a stroke and was diagnosed with a blood disorder. Mine is Antiphospholipid syndrume. but there are several others.

Poor circulation is usually caused by a lack of proper cardiovascular exercise and improper diet. these lead to complications such as obeisity and diabetes. IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFESTYLE.. And improve the quality of your life, if not your longegevity

Do you drink a lot of caffeine? This is commonly known to constrict blood vessels in hands and causing poor circulation. You don't notice it in feet because gravity pulls blood downward.

Try gingko biloba herbal medications. Gingko is reported to improve blood flow.
