I am on my 3rd day taking Medrol tablets for a rash from a bandaid, (latex allergy), the rash covers most of my knee. It feels like it is getting better, but looks to be spreading up and down the area, but not as red. It itches like crazy, I was given a topical cream as of yesterday, which is Triamcinolone Acetonide cream, which is helping the itching and the burning. My question is, after I am finished taking the Medrol, and the rash is not gone, will I need to take more, or will it stay in my system, because I am on a 21 dose pack?

My daughter has had an operation on her neck, which has left it - naturally - very red and "angry" looking. What is the best thing for this, i.e. to reduce the redness?

My sister-in-law has two little boys with the worst cases of excema I have ever seen. The 'rashes' on their faces and arms are so dry they have cracked and bled and are basically huge open sores. The cream their pediatric dermatologist gave them isn't working- any ideas?

This is the main (most frequent) area that I get this deadness - but it also sometimes effects either or both legs and seems to be tied in to a loss of hair to the outside of my thighs. I'm sure there must be a medical name for this but haven't found it yet... Any pointers would be welcome.

I am just wondering how to casually let him know about something good that will help clear up his acne. It is pretty bad, and beginning to scar. He is very self concious about it and has mentioned it around me before. But I just casually want to let him know about something that would be really good to help! He goes to a dermatologist and is on something, but its not too strong. ANything please help! And how do I casually tell him without making him feel bad? Thanks!

My sister in law has very bad eczema, and has tried lots of creams like aveeno anti-itch, dove lotion, eucerin, and many other dry skin lotions but they dont work at all if you can please give me info on some very good creams or ointments...Possibly someone who has experienced eczema or a Dermatologist.

About 2 weeks ago I noticed I had small scab-like spots appearing all around my toes.
They don't hurt and I can't feel them but they look awful.
I've tried applying foot cream and picking them but they return.

Any ideas what it is and how I can get rid of it?
Thanks in advance.

Ok, well ... a little new to insurance and dermatology.
(Please don't flame me for any naive questions or thinking).

Just have a mole (bigger than normal), a little self-conscious about it, and I want to get rid of it.

My insurance is from Kaiser, so would that mean that I can't go to any dermatology office to have this thing removed? I can only go to a Kaiser hospital?

I believe this procedure is cosmetics and the insurance will probably not cover it (correct me if I'm wrong), but I spoke to a dermatologists (friend of mine), and he said ... well ... um ... he could get this procedure classified as another procedure so that the insurance will cover.

Thoughts please ...

(geez, I feel like to only guy here - no offense)
