It depends on how long you have bee sunburned before you treat it. If it is the same day, use straight apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball, let it dry, then take a warm shower followed up by some good lotion. If it is severe, after the previous treatment soak paper towels in cool to warm milk & lay them on the affected area and let it soak. Depending on the serverity of the burn, you may peel, you may not. But the treatment described above should take the pain away & help take the red out.

Soak some towels with ice-water and vinegar. Put them on the burn for 20-40 minutes. It will take away most of the pain. As far as peeling... you could try a lotion, but I doubt it will help you much. Remember, you have KILLED the skin. Cooked it, so to speak. It will slough off, as it is replaced by new skin cells. Good luck to you!

alway use sunscreen to prevent it :) however since you have it, the most important thing of stopping any burn is to stop it - i have found cool ( not cold) wasclothes laid on the areas and refreshed when they get to warm for several hours slows the burn - unfortunatley sunburn will keep burning until its stopped - aloe vera helps also but i prefer the cool washclothes.

Aloe Vera- straight from the plant or from a commercial product. Look for the bottle to say 100% aloe vera.

first of all, be patient. second, rub lotion on it, it will cool the sunburn and it will heal it faster than if you just do nothing, you could also put a clod wash-cloth on it every night. it will help the pain
