Ideally the best thing for you to do would be to go to the doctor and get some antibiotics prescribed for the infection but if that is not an option for you the next best thing would be to soak your foot in warm water with epsom salts to disinfect and kill what ever is in your toe everyday. Gently dry your toe and rub some neosporin around the infected area and bandage it as best as you can. Once you see your toe start to heal leave the bandage off but continue to clean it everyday and let it breathe as much as you can. If you don't want to soak your foot then buy a bottle of hydrogen peroxide which is reall cheap and clean the infected area with hydrogen peroxide. It works just as well.

Go to the doctor and have it drained or lanced. You don't fool around with infections. They can spread to the bloodstream and then you'd be in trouble. I can't believe people who will go to such lengths to avoid seeing a doctor. There is just so much that you do-it-yourselfers can do. You'll end up doing yourself more harm than good, and as a result, it will cost you more in the long run. Go to the doctor!! He or she will also prescribe an antibiotic, either oral or topical, to clear up the infection completely.

Soak your foot in the hottest water you can stand and put triple antibiotic ointment in your infected area.
If you are a diabetic. Go to a podiatrist.

Soak your foot twice a day in Epsom salts and vinegar mixed with water. It will help it heal. This happened to my daughter and the foot soaking worked in about a week. Good luck.

Hydrogen peroxide. It sort of bubbles as it eats the infection, but doesn't hurt.
