my brother has tons of acne and we'd like to help him, please help?? we'd like to know approx how long it will take to work??

I was sitting down yesterday and I started to feel between my chest and I felt between my breasts and there was a slight pain, similar to the pain of an ingrown hair, and then I realized that there was a small bump/lump there. I tried to squeeze it to see if it was a insect bite or something like that but now it hurts. I don't know what this could be from. I never had a baby so I am not breastfeeding or anything and my period should be coming in a few weeks. Please help me! I am really worried because I don't exactly know what it is, but hopefully it isn't something that needs serious attention. I am still young, I just turned 18, is this normal or something I should get checked out right away? Thanks

hey i just got my belly button peirced ok and i was wondering how long does it usually take for the redness to go away because so far its been 5 days and its really bugging me and it looks gross with the red : ( .....its buggs me so much

i dont think its infected because the soarness is getting less and less every day so yea i dont think its infected

i use sheep placenta cream to lighten the skin on my arms hands and upper chest area. i notice a change in color on my wrist then my hands. showing that its not working on my hands and working on my arms. does anyone have any good suggestions? i avoid being under the sun as much as possible and when i do i use a parasole (its like an umbrella but made for sun shade). so i dont get why my hands are still as dark as the day i started (or so it seems) .

ok im 15 going to turn 17 this year. and ive had acne since i was 12. it wasnt bad but who wants acne on their face? as years past by it gor worse and worse. first ti started off with blackheads then pimples on my nose then thats when i decided to go to the dermatoligist and i got a blue light treatment and i gotta say it just cleared my skin up. then when all my treatment were up like a month later it came back with one or two i wasnt worried then i just broke out like crazy in my head and on my jaw line. before i got the treatments done i use to breakout on my checks bad like big oooo whiteheads but now i havel like red marks on my checks and because im so white you can notice it really bad. i break out everywhere.now. my last choice is i think is accutane. and another thing is that i am so oily. my face is always red from so many products i used. i think i can handle accutane. can someone tell me what can i expect from usin it, how many people have died from it.

I've noticed that my scrotum is red in color and NOT baggy at all. I got tested for basic STDs approx. two years ago and only had sex one time after that - with a condom. I'm wondering what could cause the redness. It also itches at times.

Could the skin just be irritated from very long showers?

I have fair skin that is dry yet oily around my nose. I have LOTS of blackheads all around and on my nose and a few ones on my chin that are soooo hard to extract. I use St. Ive's Exfoliator but it makes my skin and dry and peely. I've been using a Dove Moisturizing Night time bar on my face but still have an occasional massive zit on my chin or cheeks. I tend to get some small acne (un-popable) though around my eyebrows...

What should I use because the Dove bar doesn't seem to work very well...

He's had it since he was about 8 mos. old. Does anyone know what it's caused from? No one in our family has had it. Could his sleep apnea have anything to do wih it?

I feel so proud!
I'm 39, grew up in SoCal with the required sunburn every summer and I didn't have my first early cancer/sun damage spot removed until today.

My whole family has had a ton of "stuff" removed and I am the eldest daughter in my family, so I feel good about prolonging that.

How old were you with your first "sun spot"?

(I gotta laugh about it-- I've already had thyroud cancer, herniated disks, bad circulation and tons of other health problems...)

I noticed that I got some brown spots on my arms, nose and cheeks they almost look like freckles but their not. What are they should I be concerned? How can I get rid of them? I should also mention that I hardly ever wear sunscreen when it's hot.

My cheeks are covered in small bumps that make my skin feel rough. They aren't discolored and they almost never develop into whiteheads or full-fledged pimples. They aren't blackheads, either. I've had them for almost a year now.
I've stopped wearing foundation (my skin isn't discolored or blemished, just rough), drinking milk, eating red meat, greasy junk food, and hydrogenated oils. I drink 3 liters of water a day and eat lots of veggies and fruits. I wash my face two-three times a day with Cetaphil and moisturize with Purpose. I also exfoliate and/or use a glycolic mask once a week. The dermatologist just prescribes extremely strong products that just make my face flare up and peel. What am I missing or doing wrong?

I have a stye on my eye and I really need the swelling to go down. I just been using warm towels. Half of the swelling is gone. But I really need it to be gone by the end of the week.

Within the past month or more, I've been getting little bumps on the palms of my hands and fingertips (mostly my thumbs and pointer fingers). They come and go, they DON"T itch, but they do hurt, kinda feels like little needles poking into my skin, sometimes they are red, but they are usually the same color as my skin. It hard to see them. When I don't feel or see the bumps my skin gets dry and peels a little and new bumps will come back. I know that they aren't warts and its not scabies. Anyone have the same thing going on, what is it and how do I treat it, I haven't visited the doctor because I'm not sure if its a big deal, or if he'll even be able to see what I'm talking about cuz the bumps are so little and the same color of my skin, its hard for me to see them sometimes. I'm just tired of my fingertips being so sore.
