small bumps on palms of hands?

Within the past month or more, I've been getting little bumps on the palms of my hands and fingertips (mostly my thumbs and pointer fingers). They come and go, they DON"T itch, but they do hurt, kinda feels like little needles poking into my skin, sometimes they are red, but they are usually the same color as my skin. It hard to see them. When I don't feel or see the bumps my skin gets dry and peels a little and new bumps will come back. I know that they aren't warts and its not scabies. Anyone have the same thing going on, what is it and how do I treat it, I haven't visited the doctor because I'm not sure if its a big deal, or if he'll even be able to see what I'm talking about cuz the bumps are so little and the same color of my skin, its hard for me to see them sometimes. I'm just tired of my fingertips being so sore.

I haven't been doing anything out of the ordinary, not touching plants, or any new products. Whatever it is it's not contagious because my husband doesn't have it.

hmm obviously I don't know what is wrong with you, but here is some of my experience. Last year this started..I kept getting bumps in the palms of my hands and sometimes on top of my hands, they are the same color of my skin and sometimes a little read, and if i itched it they would itch but they didnt really itch just made my hands feel tight or something. anyways i went to the doctor cause it got bad once and they said it was from the tanning bed. But i stopped tanning for a while and it would just come and go.. so i did the process of elimantion..i thought it could be from alcohol or ibprofen..but i think it is from tanning because once i started that it came back. So you need to one go to a doctor and try and figure out whats causing this could be food , fragrance or anything. My body totaly changed out of no where i used to be able to tan without getting a rash, not fragrances bother my skin too!!! good luck i hope you figure it out!! I'm sure its no big deal. but annoying!!!

I used to tan fine and not break out in a rash..your body can change out of no where, so you don't have to be doing anything new !!

Do you have plants that you handle bare handed? If so I noticed that if I pick dead leaves off a certain plants that I get some small bumps on the palm of my hand..
The little needles is what makes me think it has something to do with plants.

could be caluses caused by overuse. if you sweep everyday holding a broom the same way causing the same type of friction you get lil bumps that turn to blisters then go away.
