Hi. I have a painful rash (really burns if something touches it) on my upper back - it looks (from what I can see) like tiny bright red bumps - about 5 or 6 scattered across my upper back. One I scratched, so it's ultra painful and irritated. I think it has to do with my sports bra - and the weather's been pretty warm, though I'm not sure. It's been there about a week and is ANNOYING. I notice it when I lean back in my chair. I've had it before, and it clears up, but it would be nice not to have it again if possible... any ideas? Yes, eventually I'll ask my doctor if it comes to that.

I used to have clear skin before I changed to a different type of pill around 18 months ago. I got a lot of painful spots - my skin looked awful. I stopped taking them and was prescribed antibiotics, which cleared it up a lot.

The problem is I seem to get spots regularly ever since (plus they seem to take much longer to heal), not just on my face, but on my back and chest as well. I never used to get them there at all.

Help!

I really have acne...whiteheads, blackheads and pimples! I really want to get rid of them but I don't know how. I have tried microdermabrasion and lots of different facial washes and foams (like Nivea, L'oreal and Ponds) but still they go back. They are not effective! My pores are still larger! I still have lots of blackheads on my nose and whiteheads on my forhead. I'm glad that I don't have pimples though. What should I do to remove them?

My story. And let me say up front, I AM VERY LUCKY!!! No thanks to my "pcp". 2years ago I asked my pcp for his opinion about a dark "spot" on my nose. His advice. Nothing to worry about. He gave me some "vanishing" cream to rub on it to and sent me on my merry (and woefully misdiagnosed) way. Now, 2years later my 'dark little spot" had conti nued to grow. I again went to my pcp's office. This time for a physical. I happened to mention in passing that I wanted to have my "dark little spot" removed because people were now commenting on it. At this point, and only at this point did my pcp even look at it under a magnifying device. If I had not mentioned it, she wouldn't have either. AND REMEMBER, I WAS HERE FOR A COMPLETE PHYSICAL!!!!! She sent it off for a biopsy. It was malignant melanoma. But we caught it "in time". AGAIN, I AM ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES DESPITE MY PREVIOUS PCP'S LACK OF ACTION! THE MORAL : INSIST THAT YOUR DOCTOR TREATS YOU THE SAME WAY HE WOULD TREAT A LOVED 1.U DSERVE IT

i've got a lot of small volcano shaped acne (they're little bumps with a huge hole in the middle) all over my face and they bother me so much.

I tend to squeeze them and everytime I do, these oily/hardish/round/(booger like) things come up (they're not the liquidy pus like substance when u just pop a big pimple)

I'm just wondering, what are these things? Is it a good idea to squeeze them out or just let it be? Currently I'm using various skin products for my acne. Are the products causing these things? Is it possible to get rid of these volcano acne? I heard they are considered scars, is this true?
