there may be no cure for narcissistic personality disorder. someone with this mental illness does not recognize his own characteristics of narcissistic and I don't think any medication is available to help the individual cope with this in himself or herself. only therapy may reach the narcissistic person.

The hardest issue with them is that they usually do not think they have a problem and others are selfish and self-centred. Lots of therapy with a willing participant is a start.
