possibly patchy vs. cancer??? I'd go spray on. One hint to get an even looking tan, especially if you use a tanning lotion, is to exfoliate your skin before putting it on. By exfoliating you will take off any un-eveness and deadness to your skin. Then put on the tan. and if you do use a lotion, wash your hand immediately after to prevent orange palms.
I use a Mary Kay buffing cream all over my body and also their Satin Hands set. But you can get a buffing/exfoliating scrub just about anywhere!
Hope that helps :)

Whatever you do , dont go natural ! My grandfather died from skin cancer . I think it was a horrible way to pass . If you want instant results - go for a spray on . If there is any orangeness , it should fade in a couple of days . If you have longer , I personally kinda like the daily tinted lotions that slowly change your shade . Jergens has some pretty good stuff I think . Tanning beds are really bad too . They say that they are worse than the sun . If you have the time - lotions prolly are your best bet. Here are a few tips too :
Always wear sunscreen , use a different self tanner for your face than your body , if you get streaking - use a sliced lemon and rub it on the spots - then reapply , seal out any staining that may get on your nails by painting them with a clear coat of polish before you apply the self tanner and remove it afterward , always exfoliate before applying , if all else fails - ask a doctor ! Good Luck !

I get spray on tans because I would prefer to avoid cancer, and it isn't orange or fake looking, I often have people asking me how long it took me to get tanned. The only thing you have to worry about is that knuckles sometimes get orangey

Whats wrong with your natural skin tone? In the long run suntanning can be harmful to your skin. And spray tans look so fake. Be yourself.

i could use some spf tanning oil. this is going to look far greater organic. Spray tanning can in lots of cases look orange, or be choppy. Plus, tanning final longer and look greater helpful. even regardless of the indisputable fact that it relies upon, because of the fact tanning could be undesirable to your skin, and you will desire to not do it common, whether its basically laying out. in case you utilize tanning oil, get one with some spf.

ok! i go to this GREAT salon by my house because im obsessed with tans! i have freckles..and i LOVE them but some clothes look nice with freckles..and some just look better with a tan..so i was talking with my salon friends..and they said..if u burn easily in the sun..its best to get spray on..they usually last about a week..after that yes they do look orange but the week theyre on they look GREAT!..and once they look orange u can jst scrub them off in the shower..BUT if u can go in the sun for a while and not burn ur skin..ur better off using a tanning bed, because its more natural looking, and last longer!! so GOOD LUCK!!!

My daughter had a spray on for her debutante ball and it looked really good, but it only lasts about a week before it goes patchy.
