Use a good topical cream. I use Benzoyl Peroxide. You can get it over the counter. It comes in 2.5%, 5% and 10% concentrations. I use the 5% concentration and usually 2.5% and 5% concentrations do the trick for most people. I also
apply differin adapalene gel every night to lighten the scars.
However, this gel is expensive and the use of it to remove scars on the back, chest and shoulders would be impractical, besides, you would have to keep your shirt off for a long time each day because the cream would bleach your clothes.
Anyway, that's my answer: Benzoyl Peroxide.

I'm not sure there's too much that can be done about acne scarring besides visiting a doctor, where they can laser the acne scars off, or perhaps give you a medicine.

Dermatologist do wonder jobs with this. See a board certified dermatologist and you will be please with the results.
Co-worker confided in me that she'd had this done. I was shocked as I wouldn't never have guessed.
