I started taking amoxicillin on Wednesday for a toothache. Friday morning, I noticed I had a small rash (2" by 1" or so) on the top of my hand where my middle finger connects to the hand. The rash is pink with lots of small little bumps (almost like really little blisters). It itches a little bit, but it's not severe at all.

I have called the dentist, but am waiting to hear back from him.

I've read on here about some much more sever sounding reactions, but should I be overly concerned about my rash? It appears to have spread just a little bit over the weekend, but not much.

Should I take Benadryl for it? Would the Benadryl reduce the effectiveness of the amoxicillin?

Also, I noticed a small rash by my armpit, but I recently switched deodorants and this may be cause for this. The rash is different on the armpit. It's a little pink and puffy, but has no bumps.

I'd appreciate any advice/insight you can provide.

This is reallyy really weird, but I have a problem with my underarms. They are greenish, and the skin is really thin and sensitive. I don't know why, It's not dark meaning it's not browner, but it's greenish. The situation worsens if I use regular deodorant, but even after not using regular deos, It still has a slight greenish hue. Maybe this is a skin condition, but being very fair, and although my underarms are not dark, they look like they have been stained with green clothing/ink every day. Has anyone else have had this reaction? My skin is extremely sensitive, skin on my face can only use certain brands of products, and my underarms... well. They're clean, but as i said green for no apparent reason. My friends can use any type of deo without any reaction. I react to almost all deos, and the ones I don't react to, don't work.

Losing hope of ever raising my nude underarms in public. Help

I was given a peeling product by my derma for night time use, but besides that, I have other beauty products that are part of my nightly regimen that I need. I just need to know how long should I wait before applying another product on my face so my skin will fully absorb the product. is it like, 30 mins-1 hour?

I had one last Monday and it went away.

Then today, (the next Monday) I have like 3!

My son has been picking his finger right by his fingernail and it is red and the skin is pealing. Yesterday it looked yellow and had pus on it.I put bacitracin on it and a bandaid. The pus is gone today, but it's still red and the skin is peeling. Should I take him to the dr or do these things get better on their own?

my doctor gave my dioxycyclene which i keep forgetting to take since i came off them a while back due to another treatment, just remembered to start taking them again but don't always remember. are they gonna work? i feel like i'm getting worse (very impatient!) anthing else recommended in the meantime. Thanks

My 2 year old daughter has had a rash for 14 days. It is on her stomach, arms, legs, ankles and wrists. It is NOT on her face, back, or diaper area. I've taken her to two different doctors. The first one said it was a viral rash even though she showed no signs of sickness in the last few months. Not even a cold. The second doctor (seen on 01/18) said it doesn't look viral at all. She said that it looked like an allergy of some sort. She prescribed Orapred and Loratadine and said the rash should fade and go away. I have a call into the doctor but haven't heard back yet. My daughter's rash has not spread anymore but it is not any better. Am I jumping the gun or should her rash have faded at least a little by now? I'm worried about her. She is pale and has darkness under her eyes. Other than that and the rash she seems to be fine. What is causing this and how do I make it stop?

i used nair on my upper lip and didn't do the test like i should have. big mistake!!! i left it on for 5-6 minutes like it said and it was stinging the whole way through, i assumed this was just the cream working. i did not rub it on to the skin either. As i took the cream off most of the hair came too but i have been left with severly burnt skin, scabs and blisters. it is only the 2nd day of having them and i have been applying antisepctic cream, but how on earth do i get rid of these scabs and how long will they take to heal?

I have tried antiseptics salt water bath, and medicated creams, but nothing will stop the itching, and the more i scratch, the bigger the rash gets.

near my elbow joint, i have these group of white spots that looks like goosebumps. i'm tanned & these are soo obvious. they only come out in summer & they seem to be spreading out in other areas on my arms. when i touch em they are a little raised and they're like pore like things. how do i get rid of them & most of all, WHAT ARE THEY?!?!?!

it's not so terrible, but it won't go away.. which is the problem. they're mostly on my forehead, sometimes around my nose.
also, what's worse is the reddish scars they leave on my face.
anyone know anything good!?
