If you're describing what I think you are, it could be a condition called keratosis pilaris. It's believed that about 50% of the population has it, including myself! It's a harmless skin condition that causes little red/white "chicken skin" looking bumps on the body, most commonly the arms. I don't believe there's a cure for it, but you can treat it and/or decrease its appearance through exfoliation and a good moisturizer with an exfoliant (I use Eucerin - helps for me).

There is also a website - www.helpforkp.com - that might help you.

Good luck!

IT is dry skin believe it or not that had turned into acne, you need to get an exfoliant with granules in it and scrub, cleanse, and moisturize your arms just as you would your face. This can be hereditary is some cases but if you do the following this should solve the problem within a few weeks. Good luck!

Sounds like Keratosis pilaris, which doesn't itch or hurt, it's just a build up of keratin on the skin. Exfoliating and creams that have lactic acid or retin-a should help.

It's called Keritosis Pilaris. I also have it & unfortunately there is no cure for it, just treatments to help it look better....I've checked into it. You're lucky you only have it on your arms....I have it all over :-(
