There is a common chemo drug that a person can receive through monthly injections that is very effective for severe psoriasis. See a dermotologist.

I don't think any of the over-the-counter remedies actually work...sorry...

There very well may be a treatment for psoriasis.

There is a national webpage: http://www.psoriasis.org/home/

http://www.psoriasis.org/treatment/guide/otc/

My first husband had a mild case on knees and elbows and there was a moderately expensive cream he used like a Tegrin skin lotion, not sure theystill make it or the exact name, but it gave him almost complete relief.

Look iam very sorry because NO one according to researches know any effective treatment for psoriasis
-No one know why it is happen
But if you want a herbal remedy
1-Capsicum: but is has side effects due to irritation and has temporary effect(iam not recommend it)
2-Aloe: in my opinion it is the best
DON'T REMOVE ANY WHITE TISSUES FORM YOUR SKIN
DON'T SCRATCH IT (IGNORE ANY ITCHING)
DON'T EXPOSE YOUR SKIN TO SUN OR CHEMICALS
AVOID ANY IRRITANT MATERIALS

I havent found anything to help mine, I tried this cream from the doctor but it dried out my skin even more then it already was. Stress and weather also has to do a lot with having break outs or worsening, i heard that certain foods you might eat also play a role in this.
