Skin Conditions - November 2006

I was picking at a hair bump 4 days ago and the day after my bottom lip swelled enormously. second day my gums were burning swelling went down a little. i started taking some antibiotics. now i have Yellow puss coming out of where i was picking at the hair bump, and there is a yellow **** that looks like the puss but.. when i pull on it it feels like its attached to my lip like as if i was pulling on a hair from my bottom lip. I do have chapping on my lip because where the swelling is at. I have been adding warm cloth and peroxide every few hours and covering it with neosporin.. I need help!! I just hoping its not a cold sore.. I havent had any of those sypmtoms, or the pictures i've been looking at doest resemble the one bump i have.

I have a small rash on my butt cheek, the size of a quarter. I am hoping its not ringworm, but i dont think it is, its round like a quarter, but is not like a ring. ive only had it for 2 days, it itched like a pimple on the first day, now applying cream. It is a pink red color, not too bright, and not raised with bumps. What can this be? How do you know if its something serious enough to go to doctor and how do you know if it is a ringworm or not?. It is also not a spreading rash. Thx, only serious answers.

i get them on my arms some but mostly on my legs they start out looking like a very small pimple then they get really red all around it and hot like it has fever in it then it hurts til i pop it and then usually just a clear water like fluid comes out of it not puss or blood like a pimple it stays red for about 2 days after then the sore goes away but usually leaves a small scar. any ideas of what this is???

my dentist gave prescribed anti-biotics ( penicillin ) and tylenol with codine (pain killer) and two days later i have an itchy rash all over my upper body.....should i discontinue these or should i keep taking it to kill the infection in my tooth before the root canal???? or could this be dangerous to continue?

I used to have pimple, but thanks god, they're gone. But what terrifies me is that the scars remain. I used to pinched out the puss, as friends said that it helps to reduce the spreadness of future pimples, it does reduce the number of acne. But it worsened my face by leaving scars that some look like o loop hole. Any help?

Ok, I am a 17 year old Male. I have had these AWFUL, red s.o.b.'s on my face since I was 13. And i've had it, I can't get a girl near my face anymore, my face hurts because of a few active zits here and there and its EXTREMELY EMBARRASSING. I am looking for some good HOME REMEDIES. I am not willing to buy anything at all. I've visited my doctor and tried everything he has prescribed me, it just doesn't work. Now I can't actually say my face is all that bad compared to a lot of people out there but in my area..there aren't many people with it which makes mine that much worse. Right now I am using the 'egg white' treatment which I read online not too long ago..and i'm washing my face with Kirk's Cleansing Soap which is SUPPOSED to be for acne suffer's like myself. Not sure if its actually working all that well.
Does exercising really reduce the production of oil in the body?? PLEASE ANSWER, and no ProActive didn't work!!

I have really oily skin. My face is all greasy and I have acme too so is it cause of the oily skin that I look so dark. I mean when I was young I was somewhat lighter is this cause of the oily skin?
