I am 38 and still have the skin of an adolecent teen. Just wondering if it works or is it a waste of money?

I use pro-activ every day and it is the only product that takes away my acne-it is amazing!I am 24 and still had the skin of a teen-now I rarely get a breakout and if I do they are very small.Give it 2 weeks and you will notice a big difference!

It didn't work for me but that was because it turned out I have mastocytosis, not acne. Everyone else that I know that's used it says it works, but it's a waste of money. Basically proactive includes an exfoliating cleanser. St. Ives Apricot Scrub (for oily/blemish-prone skin) works just as well. Then you apply a toner. I know Clinique sells toner for less than proactive but you could probably hunt around and find it even cheaper. The third step in a moisturizer. Cocoa butter is a great natural moisturizer and it's WAY cheaper. You might also want some oxy wipes or something to carry with you when you go out in case your face starts feeling really nasty and oily.

Go see a dermatologist first before considering using this product. You may have a condition called Rosacea that can worsen over time and this product may not benefit you but make things worse.

I too had the same issue and later found out I had Rosacea...adult acne and redness. The proactive was making things worse. You diet and lifestyle could play a huge part as well.
Seriously a trained professional can tell you exactly what is going on with your skin and how to treat it.

Yes, Proactiv works, but I still think it is a waste of money. Try AcneFree its the same thing but costs less. There's also a store brand version for about $13. Compare that to the $40 you'd have to pay to buy Proactiv.

Yes it works and is well worth the money. If you went to a dermatoligist and got something else that was perscribed then you would be paying a lot more.

Its simple and easy to do, you will have to make it into your daily routine.

I used it and it didn't really work for me . . . however, I had very severe acne. It helped a little bit, so if you have less severe acne it may work for you.
