Our daughter aged 8 weeks has a cavernous haemangioma which is a cluster of blood vessels beneath the surface of the skin which looks like a raised purplish lump (on her head).

Does anyone else have a child with this type of birthmark as we would like to know how big it is likely to get and when it will stop growing and start to recede. Has anyone had treatment? At what age would it be gone on its own?

Thanks.

I have been going to the dermatologist for 2 years, and have had my prescription changed every 2 months, and nothing has worked. If you currently have or have had acne, what has worked best for you?

The abcess is about the size of a quarter, and is NOT heading up. Either that, or it is taking it's sweet time. It is very painful to the touch. The affected are has already been subjected to heat therapy for a half hour.

My husband has a ringworm rash on his foot. He's been using lotramin ultra for over two weeks now with no sign of improvment. The rash is on the top of his foot and is very red and itchy. Any recommendation for a better treatment that might work?

The chiggers are almost impossible to kill. They get on you, then get under your skin and bite. Me and my friend C both have bumps all over. It sucks >_< They also look like baby spiders, if that helps.

I used to have Vitiligo when I was little. (I took things so it would stop showing, but my doctors did say that it could not work. But it did.) I wanted to know would I get it back? Because I see alot of people with it when there older. I know there is really no cure for it, so I know I still have it, but it does not show. I just wanted to know does anyone know if it would start showing again when I get older? Thanks.

My skin is really dry, and the cream I used to use worked really well, but I can't find it anywhere... I think they stopped making it, or something. Anyways, what creams are good for dry skin? Anyone?

My husband's index finger from the tip of the nail to the first joint, turns ice cold and becomes very painful. This has been going on for over 6 months now. At the beginning his finger would tingle and them become ice cold, after about 2 months of this happening daily usually around bedtime, a sore appeared at the tip of his finger and continued under his nail. The sore was about the size of a matchhead, and looked kinda of sponge-y. The tip of his finger is extreamly painful and throbs like a heart beat. Does anyone have any advice on what might cure this, our family doctor gave him pills and a cream that is comparable to TINACTIN. But it doesn't work. Thank you very much
