Moles are small collections of pigment melanin. Some are raised.Moles come by birth .Some occur during pregnancy. No definite cause is known.Their removal is not needed for medical reasons but only for cosmetic reasons.Their removal is not painful and there are no after effects. They are not viral.Warts are also similar to raised moles .Warts are viral.Your physician or dermatologist can advise properly.
