The doctor just told me I have a fatty liver. He thinks it is caused by alcohol. I only drink once a week and I usually drink one of the bigger bottles between 3 people or so. I've never seen this doctor before. I'm really overweight, but I've lost 31 pounds in 2 months. I'm continuing to lose weight also. I've been doing research on the internet and the number one cause for fatty liver disease is obesity... Do you really think it could be alcohol?? It would make more sense that it would be my weight..... I like to drink once a week with my friends... Do I really have to stop for good??? Thanks for all of your opinions!!

I will explain the best I can. Last night I was talking with my husband, and then suddenly my head felt like it froze, like I was beside myself. I knew where I was, and I kept having this sensation that my head was moving itself. My husband was talking and didn't notice anything. I was able to tell him that something was wrong, but then the sensation became stronger and then stopped. Even though I was able to breathe, during the episode, I almost felt like I would pass out. I'm not sure what happened, but it's happened before but not often. I have told my doctor, and he says, that's weirdest symptom he's ever heard of and says it's probably, a panic attack. Is that what it could be? I want to know if it has anything to do with a stroke or seizure, I just want to make sure it's not serious.

This is a serious question, so, please don't answer, if you're going to write something stupid. Thanks

I had two seizures/vaso vagal responses? in the recent past only while having blood drawn and not eating that day. This morning while sitting, reading and thinking about being tired; I found myself waking up after I apparently hit my head on the wall. I've been waking up too early and going to bed late for the past 3-4 days. but I got 5 hours of sleep nightly. Anyway, i woke up in the same position (outside of my head against the wall) still holding the book. I did dream and didn't have an accident but was this a seizure? thanks!!

So my mom been feeling sick latley and she gets bad headaches, bad memory lost, she sometimes forgets mine and my sisters names. She went to the hospital last night and they did an MRI and CT SCAN, XRAYS OF HER LUNGS AND BLOOD TEST TO SEE IF SHE GOTS INFECTION. But when the results came in they said she was doing fine. We know somethings wrong with her. You can just tell from her face. But like i said they think shes okay. Should we take her to a different doctor or Speacialist? She also had a mild stroke would that have something to do with it too? She also told the doctor when she was little she had seizures. But hasnt had one since she was little would that have also something to do with it? WELL PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU!!!

3 months ago I had my appendix out. I was taken to emergency room with pretty bad lower abdominal cramps and suspected appendicitis. I was operated on straight away, and found not to have appendicitis.
I had a bag of infectous fluid around my appendix.

3 months on I am still getting the cramps, just as painful although I have learn't to deal with pain.

I have 5 stools with blood in past 2 months and nearly all my stools have yellow mucus

Abdominal cramps also on lower left side as well as right

It hurts to push in on stomach

Tired, and have joint pains

My doctor has diagnosed me with fecal loading, a form of constipation. The thing is, I really dont think I am constpated. I go to the toilet regulary, and I dont strain to do so.
I really think this is the wrong diagnosis.

My right hand side pain is around the area of my scar??

What do you think it might be?? I have ideas - crohns/UC/ food intoloerence/ another sack of fluid/ adhesion??

Please help!!?

I'm 18 and everytime I have the chance (Which is not very often) I have sex with a guy. Even if I know it's only going to be a one night thing. (I only have sex with people I know) It makes me feel more attractive. I have had sex with 6 guys in just two years. It's a lot and I have only felt physical attraction to 3 of them. The other 3 were just cuz I could. Could this be some kind of mind disorder?

I have had the blood work and the endoscopy and they were both negative for Celiac. Half of my family has this disease. I have a lot of upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. I went on the gluten free diet for a while and I felt better. My doc said that I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I talked to my cousin who is an RN and she said they all say that if they dont know exactly what is wrong with you and when I brought up the Celiac thing to my GI doc again he said I def dont have it and that pain is not associated with Celiac. I know it is because My Aunt and my Uncle had a lot of pain as well as my cousin. What do I do??
