I will explain the best I can. Last night I was talking with my husband, and then suddenly my head felt like it froze, like I was beside myself. I knew where I was, and I kept having this sensation that my head was moving itself. My husband was talking and didn't notice anything. I was able to tell him that something was wrong, but then the sensation became stronger and then stopped. Even though I was able to breathe, during the episode, I almost felt like I would pass out. I'm not sure what happened, but it's happened before but not often. I have told my doctor, and he says, that's weirdest symptom he's ever heard of and says it's probably, a panic attack. Is that what it could be? I want to know if it has anything to do with a stroke or seizure, I just want to make sure it's not serious.

This is a serious question, so, please don't answer, if you're going to write something stupid. Thanks

Please go see another doctor, this is not a weird symptom, I've had it happen to me many times. It sounds like an anxiety or panic attack. During an anxiety or panic attack, my head would start feeling all fuzzy, sometimes parts of my face would go numb, I felt like I would pass out, sometimes I felt like I couldn't breathe right, sometimes it would feel like I was about to have an out of body experience or something. I always thought I was going to have a seizure or a stroke even though anxiety runs in my family. I had tests done that would confirm I did not have a seizure or a stroke anyways. Anyways, please go to another doctor for a better explanation. I seem to have the anxiety under control. Working out, a good diet and letting things just go with the flow have really helped.
Good luck!!!

ps. Sometimes there is nothing you can pinpoint for the reason of anxiety or panic attacks (as someone stated above) sometimes its just the way you are programed.

I hope you get a medical soon because I am sure you are worried and from experience know it is frightening.
I had something similar in my early forties I was taken to hospital and 5 days later they were still unable to give a definite explanation. I was discharged and for a number of years after it kept recurring especially if I was out walking alone with the fear of not being able to get home and when I was in a situation in an indoor gathering where I would find it difficult to get out , It was panic but felt like I was having a heart attack. The doctors had to say something so they said I had Ischaemic Heart Disease. That was 35 years ago!!
Seriously have a word with your doctor anyway and ask to see a Consultant and this may help to put your mind at rest and maybe identify a reason which can be treated.
Good luck.

That is odd, doesn't really sound like the symptoms of a stroke, I'm not sure about seizures.

I would insist with your doctor that there be a scan done of your head/brain to see if there is anything abnormal. You don't want to have an episode like that while driving or in the shower or something.

If it is a panic attack, then there should be something to pinpoint what is causing the attacks. Usually it is due to changes in life, stress, etc.

I have had a sort of similar situation only mine is like I feel my tongue start to flip in my mouth and I feel it and wonder if the person I am with sees it. I spoke to my doctor about it and he did a test on me they made me go without sleep for 48 hours and then I went to the hospital and then I went to sleep with all these things hooked to me, I was having small seizures, not noticeable by others, so now I take medication. I wonder why your doctor did not take your more seriously? I would get a second opinion.

you need to see a neuro specialist. regular GP's might not catch what's wrong. You can feel a seizure coming on. It's call the "aura". As for a stroke, if you had one, you'd know it. something wouldn't be "right". your speech might be slurred, one side of your face may droop, you might forget certain words when your talking. go see a specialist!! your body's trying to tell you something's wrong. good luck.
