I had two seizures/vaso vagal responses? in the recent past only while having blood drawn and not eating that day. This morning while sitting, reading and thinking about being tired; I found myself waking up after I apparently hit my head on the wall. I've been waking up too early and going to bed late for the past 3-4 days. but I got 5 hours of sleep nightly. Anyway, i woke up in the same position (outside of my head against the wall) still holding the book. I did dream and didn't have an accident but was this a seizure? thanks!!

I think it was a seizure. Your body is super-stressed by sleep deprivation. You (you're as teenager, right?) need 7-8 hours AT LEAST. Whatever you're doing late at night needs to be set aside, and you need to go to bed on time, every night. If you can't sleep, eat a banana and take two benedryl.

Take care, honey.

No, a person can sleep. If you have a bad concussion it's a good idea for someone to wake you every few hours. If you can't be woken that's the sign of some serious brain damage.
