I work in a clinical setting & wondered why the smell is so terrible.
I know the faeces pass through an intestinal opening and it is all close to the stomach but why is the smell of the faeces so terrible?
Please no stupid answers. Hopefully somebody with a medical background can answer this for me. Thanx in advance.

I have had Irritable Bowel Syndrome for about 2 yrs now, and was just diagnosed with Ulcers also. My medication seemed to have my IBS under control and I just started to take meds for the ulvers it seemed to work too. then out of nowhere my ulcers started acting up, so i guess my meds dont work for that. But my IBS soon follows and its a combo of the both that really ***** with me.

Can IBS act up because of the ulcers?
And I'm taking Plavacid for my ulcer, should I start taking a antibiotic instead could it be bacterial?

Someone I know is in the hospital with a brain aneurysm someone found her in an elevator at a hotel, the doctors say they relieved the pressure..they drained it..she is in critical condition...how often to people recover from this?? I know I shouldn't be asking on here, but there is no one to talk to, and I'm a nervous wreck. Thanks for any info.

My daughter has epilepsy (w/ no family history of it). Due to the medication, she has a very hard time retaining information and concentrating to the point where she is failing in school. She probably has blurred vision because she trips and falls everywhere. With the medication she may have one partial complex seizure a month, without the meds she can have seizures everyday. Her teacher (bless her heart) and I work with her everyday to make sure she can stays caught up with the class. I help inside her class when I have days off. I'm going to talk to her neurologist but I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has experienced this and changed to a "better" medication that helped them more than hurt them. Thanks for all your help.

I have massive water swelling in my lower limbs down to the feet. sometimes clear water simply streams out of the skin on my right leg, drenching my socks and bedsheets. Rx diuretics failed to relieve the edema. Is there any soak, maybe Epsom Salts, anything , any treatment to drain and pull out excess water from my legs & feet.???? Please help me if you know any techniques. I am in severe pain and the pressure inside my leg is explosive. this began after a car ran me over ayear ago and external fixation repaired the fracture, but the water oozes out thru the fixator holes in the skin of my leg. Those holes scabbed over - or so I thought, but the water oozes out anyway. Please help me if you know any home treatment. and i did try Rx diuretics - with poor results.

Last (10 days ago) week I started with nausea, I ignored thinking it was a 24-hour thing. On Saturday, it was still there, and it occured on Sunday again. On Monday I went to the doctor and she said i had strep which could cause nausea. Its been 6 days now since I started medication now and I still get nausea, especially in the morning. Its very aggravating. Does anyone know what it could be? Thanks

I have multiple sclerosis (for over 6 months) . And mother has too (for 14 years).
But her doc once said "no worry, MS does not pass with genes", so we all had believed in him, relieved.
Till I had been diagnosed of course ;)

So, does this thing pass to children somehow? Or just like "one can win the big prize in lottery. and I won that"
