Last (10 days ago) week I started with nausea, I ignored thinking it was a 24-hour thing. On Saturday, it was still there, and it occured on Sunday again. On Monday I went to the doctor and she said i had strep which could cause nausea. Its been 6 days now since I started medication now and I still get nausea, especially in the morning. Its very aggravating. Does anyone know what it could be? Thanks

The strep symptoms are gone by the way, I no longer feel tired or sick, just nauseous .

You probably still have nausea because of all the drainage down the back of your throat that goes down into your stomach. This will definitely cause nausea. My son had strep and had nausea along with it. His doctor told him that it was from the drainage. If it is really bothering you, you should either go back to your doctor or call your doctor and ask for something for nausea. There are some great medications for nausea that will take care of it immediately. Strep takes a long time to get over. Good luck to you and I hope you are feeling better real soon.

Go back to your doctor. Your meds might now be working.
