Yes, they are both viral infections of the Herpes family. Antibiotics don't kill viruses, it only kills bacteria. Your body's natural immunity is the one that cures you eventually from chickenpox or shingles. If your body can't produce the natural immunity (like a person who would have full blown AIDS), then death would be the outcome. Best of luck to you.

I got diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about five years back, whilst I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I understand lots of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/zDn7K everything improved.
Not only was I able to remove all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This system gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

chicken pox and shingles are all in the (HSV) family that is herpes simplex virus and with a ll viruses there is no cure... Chicken pox every one gets at some point or another and can be fatal from high tempters. other then that it can lower your immune system and make you more likely to contract the AIDS virus... I wish you the best. And because I am not a doctor I urge you to ask you doctor the same q? and even be tested regularly

My aunt got an infection on her scalp from a sore and the infection went to her brain and she died. She was a small child when it happened. I'm sure it's not very common today.... At least not in this country. There is a vaccine now, too. For sure, don't delay treatment, especially as an adult. Believe it or not, it's more dangerous when adults get it usually. If you haven't had it, get the vaccine.
