I live in Canada and have been prescribed Clonazepam for GAD and I am really interested in finding out how many people are prescribed Clonazepam. Would anyone know where I could find info on this or statistics on he number of people who take this medication?. I feel like I am the only one who needs this to function with the anxiety or the stresses of everyday life. I know im not really alone, but I think it would help to find out if this is more common that I think. Thanks for your help!

I am out of my Ambien prescription (been taking for a couple of years) and I am trying to go to sleep without taking them. I haven't taken one in about a week and a half. It is 2:00 or 3:00 in the mornig before I can go to sleep, and I have to be at work at 8:00am. Will this eventually pass? Is there anyone else out there that has this problem? I know I can't stay on them forever, but I need to shut my mind off and start getting some sleep. I take 2 Tylenol pm before bed or Melotonin (natural vtiamins to help sleep) and it doesn't help.

I have been a nurse for a long time, ER, dialysis and surgical. Today I had a very rough shift and need to hear your funny stories to revive me. It helps all of us when we feel burned out.

My doctor told me that you get lice from someone who has it, and that person got it from someone else who has it, and so on. But where does it start?

My throat is itching horribly, and this just started a few days ago, I've had a bad cold. Im wondering what could be wrong, considering the fact that the other symtoms, except sleepiness and coughing have been persistant. Especially when I get to itchy in the throat area. It kinda brings back memorys of when I last had tonsilitis, the tonsil never really healed. But I doubt it's that, I've checked.. im just wondering what could be wrong?

We recently found out that many members of my family have Hemophilia. I was wondering, since I am the only one who could pass it on, if I should risk having children? My brother and Grandpa never have had problems with it except while in surgery, but I was afraid I could have a son with a much more severe case. Should I worry?

i was diagnosed with ms about 8 years ago...started with optic neuritis..mri shows only one leison in the white matter of the brain and one lesion at c2 on the spinal cord....evoked potential was positive, spinal tap was said to be positive by one neurologist and inconclusive by another..i have many of the symptoms including weakness, loss of coordination, numbness in hands and feet, etc,,,now a new neurologist looking at the spinal tap says he things something about the bands doesn't necessarily confirm ms, so he ordered a blood test to see if i had something else...i have no clue what he said, haven't been able to get a hold of him..really want to find out what he is looking for?? any ideas...thanks

the water pill dose is 40mg but his Nephrologist (kidney specialist) told him to take 3 pills instead of one because it wasn't working at 1st and that worked for a short time.
He's barely eating anything. He feels so bloated all the time like he's going to pop.

Hi I am a 20 year old female, I just had my physical today and I told the doctor how i have been sleeping alot lately, my period has been heavier than usual. This has been the case for several months now. She told me that I am anemic. I have noticed that I get cold very easily during times when the it's not really cold. My does turn pale sometimes, lips are dry almost all the time. I am a college student, and my workload expects me to stay up late nights but I can never stay up, I am goner after 10pm. Also I have noticied that I have been losing hair, my hair is getting thiner. I have a hard time paying attention in class, I start to fall asleep like 15 minutes into my leacture, and this can be seen with my grades dropping. My appetite: somes days i eat and eat, whereas other days i have one meal and dont feel the need for anyhting else. I weigh 114lbs and am 5'2, so I know i m not thin thin, because i have read that anemics are thin. Am I anemic or something else, please help!

I've been doubled over in pain for a week today! The stones too small to be seen with an x-ray, but it just won't pass! Is it gonna hurt worse? Will I feel it pass? Will that be the end of the pain?

I have dark colored skin with light colored spots on my sides of my back and under my arms. They do not itch and they are not scaly. I have no symptoms at all except for the physical appearance. What could they be? Where can I get more info?

it began yesterday after eating breakfast. i was sitting down reading when i started feeling woozy. the feeling was like there was an earthquake occuring (funny eh?). i thought it would go away after a while but when i started walking around the ground seemed to be moving. Simple changes in position (e.g. turning from one side to the other while lying down, jumping) made me feel woozy. i rested for a few hours and slept, but when i woke up it was still there. then when i woke up today, i felt better, and i had just a moment of dizziness. i still get this weird feeling though when i extend my head (when i look up). can this be a symptom of something or is it nothing to worry about?
