Wanna get rid of it on your own? My husband gets a stone(s)about every year. We used to rush to the emergency room where they doped him up and gave him muscle relaxers. $1500 later he finally passed it. The drugs left him hungover for a couple days. Including work lost, it gets more expensive.
I found a home remedy that really works.
drink 6 cans of Coke over a 2 hour period. The phosphoric acid will soften the stone(s) . Caffeine free is ok and probably a good idea unless you like being wired.
Then eat a bowl of asparagus. Fresh is best but you can buy a can. Cook it and season it. If you don't like it, tough.
The asparagus purges the kidneys and the only way to get the stone/sludge flushed out.
Now it's time to really flush it out with a lot of water. Keep drinking as much as you can.
Pee in a white plastic or paper cup to see if you pass the stone.
We saw a darkish sludge in the cup.
He continued to drink water to rehydrate his body.
Two hours later, he was out washing the cars.
It is known that this will work on certain types of kidney stones.
I think it's worth a try. Good luck.

Had kidney pains for a few months earlier than I noticed the Doc. He had me x-rayed and noticed a few kidney stones for which he gave me a remedy which helped me move the smaller stones which harm just like the satan once they got here out. Others had been damaged up with extremely sound as I sat in a bathtub of water and a few had been too enormous to be dislodged.

When you pass a kidney stone it has to travel through the ureters that carry urine to the kidneys and then through the urethra where your pee comes out and it's going to hurt.
Once the particular stone(s) are passed the pain will lessen but whatever caused you to have the kidney stone in the first place is likely to create others so have your Dr talk to you about prevention.

I was in so much pain I became violently ill at the hospital. X-ray didn't show a thing but luckily I passed mine, while on Demerol, at the hospital. Thing was like a tiny piece of coral, no wonder they hurt so much. Yes, the pain will go away nearly immediately but it may cause future problems, such as a few drips after you think you've finished. No joke.

Yes, I'm afraid it will hurt, but that will be the end of it...for now. You may be prone to more kidney stones in the future. I have co incidentally just read that drinking orange juice regularly helps to stop kidney stones coming back.
'New research shows that a daily glass of orange juice can help prevent recurrence. It works by boosting the levels of citrate in the urine and reducing the crystallisation of uric acid'
Hope this helps.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!
This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.
It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

there's another condition that can give you that sort of pain if your urine test doesn't show calcium oxalate crystals.
If you got the crystals, they'll pass, and the only way to feel less pain is to drink tons of water...
good luck
don't forget to ask about what can bring them again...
