The problem is that most people don't realize that stem cell research IS going on. ADULT stem cell research. And ONLY adult stem cell research has provided any medical breakthroughs. There has not been ONE SINGLE medical advantage from embryonic stem cells. The problem is that the bills that want stem cell research, give Carte Blanche for the "scientists" to do WHATEVER they want with the unborn. Cloning, whatever, its all ok the way these bills are written. I am totally against using frozen and aborted fetuses for "science projects". Its barbaric and dangerous, and shows no real promise, just suppositions and a license to kill.

1. I am all for stem cell research. It can help to cure some pretty terrible diseases. Not to mention, women are going to get abortions no matter what. So, why not do something good with the products of conception that result from the abortion?

2. I dont suport cloning, for no other reason than it is just kinda creepy and has implications that are far to 1985-like

i think we should take this all to it's conclusion. that means the cloning of humans, their is no reason for us not to. steam cell research is a good start and many things can be learned from it. and with the proper laws in place their is nothing wrong with cloning and for those bible thumpers out their does the bible not say we should become more god like their is nothing i can think of that is more god like than creating life.
