it began yesterday after eating breakfast. i was sitting down reading when i started feeling woozy. the feeling was like there was an earthquake occuring (funny eh?). i thought it would go away after a while but when i started walking around the ground seemed to be moving. Simple changes in position (e.g. turning from one side to the other while lying down, jumping) made me feel woozy. i rested for a few hours and slept, but when i woke up it was still there. then when i woke up today, i felt better, and i had just a moment of dizziness. i still get this weird feeling though when i extend my head (when i look up). can this be a symptom of something or is it nothing to worry about?

Sounds more like an attack of vertigo to me....do you have a cold that has settled in your ears. I have Meneires Diseae and this is exactly how I get.

Have someone get you some Meclizine (OTC Draminine II) that will help some of this.

Yes, I ate so little really...So this time I can remember yesterday I had...... A grapefruit for breakfast Some pepper cheese on crackers with V8 juice for lunch And 2 glasses of wine and a crock of French onion soup and an antipasta salad with dressing. I had about 3 glasses of water yesterday also at different times.. NO snacks at all..YEAH!!!!! And this morning I only had 1 large fresh orange.

Your body is probably just stressed. Try taking a hot shower or sleeping again in a pitch black room. Perhaps it will go away after that. Its worked for me. And I don't know the illness that relates to it, sorry.

Inner ear infection, fluid from allergies or sinus, high blood pressure, or Meniere's Disease (so-called incurable inner ear disease), and maybe some more.

It could be dehydration or even sinus problems. Or it could be something serious. Call your doctor!
