Roughly, every alternate night, as i'm about to drift off to sleep, three things happen without fail. The first thing is, I mildly hallucinate, but without actually being able to do anything about it, then there is this embarassing snort or snork that i do without control of it which startles me, and finally all my muscles, especially my hands and arms, go very weak and heavy after all of it. Any ideas on these strange episodes please?

An acquaintance of mine has the following symptoms, she knows what her illness is but won't let me know. (this is not the problem, don't give me comments on the fact that she's keeping it a secret.)

I only have 3 symptoms for you to analyze this:
a) Strictly Vegetarian - I don't know why but she's not allowed to eat large amounts of meat.

b) Dry skin - she once told me that she has to put lotion evarytime cause it dries easily ( her skin doesn't look psoriatic)

c) YOU CAN IGNORE THIS ONE. She seemed to have um, peculiar hair, I can't describe. I saw her pictures back then and her hair seemed to be really thin and seemed to fall (not sure at all)

I know that u can't discern the illness easily by just those 3 symptoms, but as much as possible, give me the most believable and possible answer please.

PS She looks very very pale.

My sister has been diagnosed with Addisons Disease, as a result of her many years on Asthma steriods. She got diagnosed whilst over in London on a holiday. She since has come home to Australia but is going through a terrible time at the moment as they try to take her off the steriods and replace with the correct drugs. Everytime she goes to decrease her steriods though, she ends up in hospital with the doctors warning her that this is too dangerous and she could lose her life. She as a result is very upset and is heading into a big depression. I am worried about her, but dont know what to do. I live on the other side of Australia to her and she simply refuses to talk to mum and dad about it. Does anyone have any support groups that I can get onto for more information and support for my sister and me.

Hey, so this has just started happening this year. Never happened to me before. I mean I can have allergies or colds and get sinus headaches and stuff but now its always there! I don't necessarily have a stuffy nose, its like behind it around my eyes, forehead cheeks, around my nose (but not really in it) its have something in it. Often when I move my head (especially when I'm lying down) I hear pops and I only get relief only when it pops, but just for a few seconds.. I hate it this never happend in the past (except this year) and for some reason I feel better when I 'm not in my house. What is it thats doing this? My headaches are getting worseand my eyes sometimes get blurry?

Status: growth not advancing for 5 years by taking thyroxine hormone regularly(for hypothyroidism), not interferring with swallowing and not visible except on x ray examination. Have work on supervisory level as farm manager abroad already for 8 yrs without it causing a problem. I beleive having it operated on to remove it is not even the solution because the fact that it is hormonal the defeciency of thyroxine will still be there.

OK, this is a serious inquiry, so serious answers are much appreciated. While I was in college (a few years back at this point), I frequently pissed the bed if I had had too much to drink. In the past few years, I have definitely had my fair share of heavy binge nights and not once did I have a problem. I thought I outgrew the habit. Recently, it's started up again. No idea why. I've had rougher nights in the past few years and stayed dry, but now it just keeps happening. Anyone have this problem or know why it would reappear like this? I'd like to be able to go back out for a night on the town without fearing that I'll wake up in my own filth. Thanks. Please don't make fun of me.

Since yesterday my boyfriend has had this pressure or sharp pain at his temples, he takes ibuprofen and it slacks off but it doesn't go away. This morning he had a bad nose bleed. And every time he gets the pressure or sharp pain he says that he feels really hot like he's burning up. And that he's been a little dizzy. He says that the dizziness comes and goes. Have you ever heard of this or experienced something like this? Do you know what this is?

Thanks for your answers. And please no "go to the doctor" answers he's going to go to one.

It started a month and a half ago. I have been insanely thirsty, and have been peeing like crazy because of all the liquid i consume. Then after a couple of weeks I started getting neausious. I have been so tired and have no energy. Then lately I have been ravenously hungry. Like I'm an empty pit. My vision has gotten blurry and when I talk sometimes my words come out really funny. Like really slow or I'll repeat a letter like I'm stuttering. I'm worried but hate going to the doctors. Any ideas?

If you get amnesia, does your character change?? Say, if you were a criminal before you got amnesia, is it possible to become totally innocent after amnesia, because you have forgotten all the tragedy and such which led you to live a life of crime???

Also, if you get amnesia from, say, drowning, do you unconsciously get a phobia for water???
