I'm trying to determine alternative pain management ideas that are not to expensive. Pain goes from mild aching to acute stabbing and piercing jolts of pain effecting me from both my feet, ankles, knees, elbows, ribs, upper back and neck and wrists this typically prevents me from performing routine daily activties. I am on meds for pain managment but hope to integrate techniques or treatment to help reduce the pain I deal with?

Her name is Emi, she is American from DC. She has been on a transplant list for 4 years, but in vain. Where shall we turn for life saving help. Her blood type is A+ and her underlying disease is Lupus. She has been a TV and printed media advocate for ethical virtues, family values, healthy nutrition (her studies). She is willing to donate acres of land in Europe, inherited from he grandfather, for this life saving organ. Without function in both kidneys, with 3 times a week, four hrs at time, chained to the machine for 10 best years of her youth, deprived her of knowing what happiness and freedom is. Is there someone out there to want to contact us for a life-saving gift of the most precious that God has given to us: healthy living, upon which all prosperity on earth depends?!

I drink all day long because I'm thirsty. I've even measured out my water intake and it is well above the recommended 8 glasses a day. When I urinate, it is always a very large quantity, like I have eliminated all of the water I had put in. The next time I urinate, it is usually very yellow or almost orange, indicating that I am dehydrated still. I constantly feel hot and dehydrated too. I am not doing strenuous exercise or working in the heat. I've had this problem for a while and we thought it was diabetes but my sugar is normal, even on the low end. The only medication I take is Yasmin brand birth control pill. What could this be? What can I do?

Please don't tell me to have my Gallbladder removed....I already know that's what needs to be done. It's a $10,000 operation and I have NO insurance and not enough money or credit. I have been to the doctor though, but the pills he prescribed do not work. I've tried taking antacids, hot baths, and drinking milk. None work. Is there anything I can do to relieve the pain? Or do I have to just suffer through it? Somebody please help me! It hurts so bad that I've thought about just stabbing myself so I could have emergency surgery.

Multiple systems are begiinning to fail. He has dysphagia and has already had one pneumonia bout. He is verging on CHF and has atrial fibrillation. He has difficulty walking and dressing himself is quite problematic. Short term memory is shot (NONE)

He is at home (I'm the son and caretaker) and seemingly happy. There is the occasional agitation when he is aware of mental deficit. He spends most of his time dosing, napping or outright sleeping. The rate of failure is alarming. Two years ago he was in charge and mostly effective and capable. He is now not competent for anything..

So, is he happy? How do I tell? If he is happy, then I should do all in medical power to keep him around. If not, then not. These are not questions that I've ever dealt with before, so I need help. Thank you for that help.

I have had anemia for a long time, and my docs have always just told me to take iron supplements. However, there has never been a significant increase in my hemaglobin/hemacrit levels; there have been slight increases, but nothing that is permanent. Additionally, my RBCs are slightly microcytic. I am religious about taking my iron supplements, and I take them with orange juice. I am concerned because I am tired, I have trouble concentrating, I have chest pain occasionally that is really bad when I take a deep breath, my skin is pale, when I get sick I have trouble fighting it off, I get dizzy often, I get cold easily, and basically I am just tired of being sick and tired. My doc is a tool and he doesn't listen to me, so I am seeing another doctor soon, but I am concerned because my son is also anemic, so I want to make sure I know what I have so that I can help him.

Doctors discovered that I have a blood clot in my right index finger, restricting blood flow to the tip. They have prescribed viagra to open up the arteries and create more blood flow to the finger.

My question is, any other women on Viagra? Should I be embarrased? lol
